thoughts <div class="quote_poster">Quoting dallasdude:</div><div class="quote_post">That's just funny. All 3 teams get screwed after this trade goes through. </div> The only team getting screwed is the Lakers. Even though the players that the Maverics trade away average 53.9 points and they get 44,5 points Terry might not return next year. It is time for Harris to step up and be our starter for now and the future. Getting 6-10 Lamar Odem who can handel the Ball wouldnt be bad and can also score very nicely, Boris Diaw is 23 years old and averages 10.5 would be a good backup for Devin. Marion can do everything and alot of people want to straight up trade Dirk for Marion. We could also get a maybe 3rd or 4rth overall pick from the Suns to get whatever we lost or need.
Um wow... money wise this trade would never happen, theres no way the Mavs salary cap could take on Odom, Marion and Diaw.
Marion, Odom, Diaw, J.Howard, do you realize that their all side kicks??? Hopefully you were bored, drunk, or just dont like the Mavericks, Suns, and Lakers all together.

However, i don't see the lakers doing that just to get cap space, they are getting nothing in return

I was also under the impression that we DIDN'T pay Pavel (lol)... is he the Mavs new Tariq Abdul-Wahad?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting The Soft Parade:</div><div class="quote_post">Can`t trade Dirk. Period.</div> I was thinking the same thing, Dirk is staying in Dallas, unless he signs with a another team during his FA year, which I doubt.
I wouldn't do that. The Suns and Lakers both get rip-offs. But thinking about Amare and Nowitzki together...
