This was my upset special of the week and I was right for a change.

It will probably be the only time all year I will see Miami play.

The 1st quarter and a half was sloppy and made me hesitant. I think they were exorcising vanilla flavored ghosts.

It was sometime in the 3rd qtr that I knew Miami would win. It was nice to; 1) have a head coach who did more than keep the stadium turf from floating away, 2) have an OC who has go for the kill mentality, & 3) have a QB who can throw an out pattern w/ authority.

Play of the game was when Taylor came in at TE and McMichael went in motion and "fell down" and then caught the TD pass. Ole #99 was a decoy and Denver bit.

Player of the game: Wes Welker. 4 catches 4 first downs

Good win! Dolphins start strong and the Saban era has taken a nice step in the right direction. If theres a San Diego team from last year I have been thinking maybe Miami.

I was very pleased with Gus Frerotte. Giving him my thumbnail is my way of giving him a game ball. I won't say that he's our long term answer, but he played a pretty good game today.

What does Gus want with your thumbnail? Eeewww! There's something a little creepy afoot at the DWO Headquarters.

    Perhaps with this approach...

Thumbnail. Avitar. You say Houshmanzedah, I say Houshmanzadah.

Yeah; I broke the lock and got out of the basement.

However, I am not little I'm over 6 feet tall.

    Best part of the game:

9 minutes remaining, the Dolphins are leading 20-10 but the Broncos have just scored a TD to make a game of it....I sit on the couch silently wondering WWWD....as in "What would Wannstedt do?".....and I'll tell you what I came up with....he would order 3 runs right into the interior line to take 90 seconds off the clock and punt....and the Broncos would have been on the attack with all the momentum....so what did Saban(and Linehan) do? Frerotte goes over the top of the Broncos defense to find Marty Booker on a 60 yard catch and run TD....game, set, match....and the difference between Wanny and Saban are evident....
