<div class="quote_poster">Quoting phatboy1693:</div><div class="quote_post">I think it's the Pacers and Pistons</div> Agreed, right now its Pacers-Pistons. Miami and Pistons is another good one but not quite as good.
pacers pistons and it goes back before the fight, with pacers having the old pistons coach and just them being among the elite eastern conference teams for the past few years all west-coast rivalries have died out cause kings, lakers, and blazers aren't what they were.
right now, i'd go with pacers/pistons and dallas vs houston which is probabbly going to be dead the way houstons playing
Its hard to tell these days, back in the 90s I would've given you Bulls/Knicks, Knicks/Pacers. 2000-2003 I would've said Kings/Lakers now I guess the choice is Pacers/Pistons, its the most competitive rivalry left, and there are a FEW fireworks here and there.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting FedEx227:</div><div class="quote_post">We do?</div> Don't you remember the fight that happened last year when Larry Hughes pushed Kirk Hinrich to stop him from making a layup? It was huge. Not to mention that these two teams met in the playoffs after long droughts.

It wasn't in the playoffs. In believe that it might have been preseason. I'm guessing it was earlier in the game because most of the starters were on the floor. Someone on the Wizards (I can never remember who) shoved Antonio Davis in that fight. When Davis started going after him the guy ran away. It was a pretty big fight. Anyone have a video clip of it?
Right now I go with Pistons and Pacers. Ever since the fight, you can still feel anger in the air when the game comes on.
Its STILL the Kings lakers. Both teams may have fallen off a bit, one moreso than the other (lakers), but when these two teams play...both sides want a win BADLY

Do you always have to bring up the Kings into everything? There is nothing resembling a rivalry right now between the Lakers and the Kings. Yeah there might still be a little "norcal vs socal" thing there but really, it's nothing. The played that shoved Davis (that Jurassic was talking about) actually punched Davis in the face. It was Brendan Haywood. He shoved Hinrich, then punch Davis, and started backpedaling running away from A.D like a lil girl. AD then take Haywood down and while they're wrestling on the floor Curry jumped in and hit Haywood in the crotch. Kinda funny actually.
Pistons/Pacers Pacers/Heat Spurs/Mavs Spurs/Lakers Those are the most hyped ones. Spurs/Pistons is not a rivalry. San Antonio does not look at Detroit as a rival.
of all time : pistons - lakers when the pistons ended the lakers 80's dominance, and when they beat the super pumped up lakers of 03-04. now: pacers-pistons, the brawl added tension to the post season upset a few months before... the pistons seem to be winning this one
