Good game, I thought the raps showed some resiliency to get a win on the road especially after the Jefferson 3 point play. Hoffa is inconsistent from game to game but i really like the way he puts the body on Vince. Every Rap/Nets game since the carter trade it seems like Hoffa has laid a decent body check on carter.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hoffa bit a part of Carter's ear off in mid-air the next time they meet.

Great game by the Raptors. With 2 minutes to go I was really worried about the Raptors patented 4th quarter collapse but they proved me wrong. My friends and I were actually going to take bets on which team would win even with the Raptors up by 5.

I think I might have to start coaching this team because all of my predictions are actually coming true. Calderone is starting, Jalen WAS on the bench for the past few games and the Raptors have started to find ways to win.

We are not going to make the playoffs but I'm sure this season will provide as much ups as it does its downs.

BTW when Vince went down in the 3rd quarter I automatically remembered why I loathed him when he was playing in Toronto. This guy is such a freaking wimp when it comes to physical play.

Most people would pop right back up and then limp it off...BUT NOOOO vince had to dive it and wince on the floor for like 5 minutes and chicken out of any contact. he's such a poonani. XD But...its like he got scared of contact ever since missing that shot in game 7...and he's been soft ever since...and if you've been listening to the FAN 590, then u'd know what i'm talking about and how vince had wimped about going to his graduation...and i agree with that late night vampire guy...even though he knows nothing about basketball...and he just wanted everything from then on...so...yea...good thing we traded him

Oh Vince, it seems that your balls still havent dropped even after the trade. What a wiener. Did the poor guy suffer a massive charlie horse or something? Pick your ass up off the floor and at least get yourself to the bench. Like Leo said, Vince always had a little soccer player in him.

Dude, stop insulting soccer players' toughness.

Soccer players do that, just like basketball players flop. To get a call. It has nothing to do with toughness, rather acting.

Vince on the other hand, is a baby.

[IMG] Did you guys see that one play in second quarter when Graham posted up Vince and totally owned him? Vince got his third foul on that play and as he was returning to the bench, Graham turned around towards the Nets' bench and yelled out "Aww, did I hurt you baby?" You can hear Leo Rautins trying so hard not to laugh.

Don't look now, but VC's numbers are starting to slide back again. Based on what I read into the numbers, it looks like he's attacking the basket less, hanging out on the periphery more and shooting a much lower percentage from everywhere but the free throw line as a result

If you watched him in TO, you knew that it was only a matter of time before he got comfortable

    Have fun..............

I agree. Watching him play, and comparing it to his stats this year, and it looks like he's playing like he did in 03-04. A very good player, but passive at times and nowhere near the VC that lead us to the playoffs or who reenergized Jersey last year.
