Apperantly the Raps are alredy in the record books for 4th worst start in NBA history in the first 17 games of a season. Who here is betting the raps will overtake the 72-73 76ers?

That chart is misleading..... other than this year's Raps and Hawks, it only has the teams that ended off the season with one of the worst records, not the teams the just started the season w/ a horrible record.... e.g. not too long ago Orlando started off the season 1-19 and the Clippers also started off their season 0-17 and both those teams aren't on that list..... so I'm sure there's a lot more teams that started off the season with a record just as bad or even worse than the Raps.

This chart is correct look closer: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Worst 82-Game NBA Records In History (Through 17 Games)</div>

These are the worst through 17 games in nba history, Orlando never went 1-19.

The clippers aren't on that list because the season they went 0-17 was in a lockout shortened season. the article deals with a full season.

^ u misinterpretted that quote.... it says "worst 82-Game NBA Records in History (Through 17 Games)", meaning, worst record to end the season....

I didn't realize that the Clippers were 0-17 during the lockout season, but Orlando did in fact start with a 1-19 record: link

Just last season the Bulls started with a 3-14 record and that too is not found on the list: link

The season is still young, i think the team can turn it around (a bit). Im certainly not expecting the playoffs (for a couple of seasons) though.

    Things can only get better..........

yeah...toronto got an awful team but i don't think it will be degraded into "one of the worst team in history"
    at least not yet

i am pretty sure toronto can get more wins than Burnett, if they don't...then...OK...they are one of the worst teams in history
