I thought Mike Tice said we were going to emphasize the run more this season? What did we run like maybe 10 times?

I dunno the Vikes O looked off today ( I can't say much about off Offenses though!), Tampa just seemed to quick for the run even if they tried it more. Besides they were down most of the game and needed to catch up throwing made more sense. Lets keep in mind though this is just week one Flukes happen!

What an aweful game. Miserable, pitiful, embarrassing. Hopefully this was just a one week issue.

Personally, I think Marcus Johnson was a big part of the problem...Culpepper was running for his life most of the day and never found his rythm.

    On to Cinci...

Cant say i didnt expect this. Culpepper will not be same player without moss. Now while they will be ok on defense, they will regress on offense and lose low scoring games all year

Like the Jets, I'm not ready to stick a fork in the Vikings after one week. I think Culpepper is one the better QBs in this league. He'll bounce back.

I don't buy this argument...yet. I think before we can say that Culpepper had success only because of Moss we need to see him play more. Granted, when he had Moss he was very good, as most QB's are because they have the league's best receiver to throw to.

Culpepper believes he will be better because he will have the ability to spread the ball around more, something he likes to do. Today he just seemed lost, was not able to set his feet on any throws, and had several throws dropped and one bad call which brought back a TD.

Kudos to the Bucs who did a great job confusing the hell out of the Vikings.

The Vikings definitely need to run more to set up the pass.

Oh...and Jermaine Wiggins was robbed by the officials on that offensive pass interference call. He never touched anyone... Getting 7 there, rather than 3, may have changed the game.

I thought Mewelde Moore was going to see some carries but I guess not. This is another reason why I've signed a Fire Tice partition. Anyone else want to sign. I hate Tice!

I believe Moore is fighting a nagging injury, although he may not have been on the injured list.

That call against Wiggins was total BS, but it doesn't matter in the end. They sucked the whole game, one play shouldn't make that big of a difference.

No doubt that they need to run the ball. I thought the o-line was solid but maybe not.

the rams and the vikings need to start running the ball a lot more. They both have a great run core, now they just need to use it

I always thougth the Vikes had a solid running game, considering ya'll have three really good backs...

I don't care how good of a running back we may have, if there are no holes in the line, they aren't going anywhere. It all starts upfront.
