<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Anytime the Bulls decide to let Ben Gordon escape Scott Skiles' doghouse, they'll be getting speed-dialed by more than a few teams, starting with Indiana and Denver. Both clubs are watching the Gordon-Skiles feud over a starting lineup spot and playing time with great interest. The Pacers find it harder and harder to put up with Stephon Jackson's daft decisions with the ball, while Nuggets coach George Karl is desperate to add a shooter to stretch the defense.

I would not read much into it, because it is the New York media. However, the second Ben Gordon trade rumor to arise this season raises some questions.

i don't think ben gordon's salary is anywhere near ron artest's so this is not gonna happen... and both deng and gordon should stay in chicago and develope their game, i'm POSSITIVE the bulls will make the playoffs this year so why trade them, they need to stop with these rumors

nono the thing is that the bulls have a lot of salary space
so they can accept Ron Artest's contract
he's making smth like 6 million

There would be no way Indiana would trade Ron Artest, while he has done his bad things, hes still the face of that team, he represents what they need to win a world championship, no way they trade him for a pure scorer.

These rumours remind me of the all of the KG trades that keep popping up. People make them up, because they want to see him somewhere else and so they have something to talk about.

We better not give him up. I don't know that these rumors have anything factual going for them either. And I give a swift 'no' to any Artest rumors too, can't stand that guy.

You're saying that if Indy wanted Gordon for Artest, you wouldnt make that move? I keep hearing that Gordon is in a fuss because he wants to start...but hes strictly a scorer...he's more suited for an instant offense role off the bench because he doesnt necessarily help out too much in other facets of the game...

yeah, i agree with you that gordon is an instant scorer. but, he is also what, 23? artest is like 4-6 years older, and a well known problem. i would rather not break up the young bulls than let artest come back and possibly get pissed again. i mean he is a great player i just don't think he would be a good fit. but, then again, he is a player that skiles might like, a tough hard working player that will do whatever it is needed to win. i just don't feel that john paxson would make this deal.

Yes, i wouldn't want him in the least. He'd be a cancer to this young team and is hardly the big body the Bulls need right now. No way I would want him back. Plus, who knows when his sophomore album is going to come out and he's going to want more time off.[IMG]
