I've been saying it for quite some time - I was just wondering if maybe anyone else was starting to see it yet?

Its just one game but daaamn did the Cheifs slap em in the face, I cannot say much though considering the Lions did the same to the pack.

I want to see more than one game before we stick a fork in the Jets. Chad Pennington didn't do anything to silence the talk about his shoulder though.

first of all they had a shitty game i'll say that, but u know what tko i dont think the Bills could have gone into Arrowhead and win against the Chiefs liek that. They certainly would have done much better than the Jets who played like crap. Despite all the crap they did i saw some stuff that wasnt too bad. I mean their WRs did get open and despite all those fuckin fumbles Pennington had if u look at his numbers his completion percentage isnt bad at all, infact its pretty good. After screwing up the whole 1st half i think the D kinda settled down. But u know what its the first game and after all that its only 1 loss. I dont think u can say anything about just the first game TKO. cause in the end if the Bills lose next week and the jets win they are both 1-1

Good game guys. We got the win in that one, but as Jets said, the defense did settle down in the 2nd half and played us much tighter. Pennington's fumblitis was just too much to overcome today. I was impressed by the play of Jonathan Vilma and John Abraham. Ty Law will get scarier as he regains his health. Good luck the rest of the way!

I'm still sticking to my story.

Too bad Jets1083 didn't want to risk his sig or his avatar to a Bills fan.

I think the Jets are a little overhyped.

I predicted them to miss the playoffs this year. I just have a feeling that Pennington won't get it done.

My major concern with Pennington is his shoulder. It doesn't look like it's healed properly and he's underthrowing passes. Pennington is a sharp kid. I just hope people don't start questioning his heart because his shoulder isn't functioning properly.

i still dont know what you are trying to do with that post insult me? cause the Jets lost?

Yup the jets are done...and San Fran is probably going to win the West...you must be scared though that the Dolphins might take second place in the East from you.

You're right, it was packers88 that wouldn't risk his.

    My bad.

    Honest mistake.

But, the way our D is playing right now, we're gonna have a field day with Pennington if he's not 100% by the time our teams meet.

Pardon me for maybe not being able to detect sarcasm all that well from a message board, but I don't think the 9ers are going to win the West. The Dolphins are not going to finish better then the Bills (they pulled a Texans - big deal - the first two seasons that the Texans won their openers, they didn't do crap after that, I expect the phins to maybe go 6-10, 7-9 no better). The jets have a tougher schedule then buffalo because they have to play the tough teams that the bills have to play on the road while Buffalo gets them at home (see the chiefs).

Of course I was being Sarcastic...week one is always unpredictable...We lost 31-0 to your bills and proceeded to go 14-2 and win the superbowl..its always nice to get off to a good start but definitely doesn't define how your season will go or decide if a team is overhyped...Also the Cheifs aren't exactly a bad team...with that offense they can beat anyone if there defense just puts up a fight...

I agree that week 1 is always unpredictable.

Its a shame they don't award bonus points for quality of opponent that Miami would be in 1st all by themselves.

This post is about 51% sarcastic. However, there is at least an ounce of truth in every pound of sarcasm.

well, obviously, I was able to detect your sarcasm.

As you all know, playing in your home stadium is a big advantage.

that game would have had a different outcome if they had played in Denver (who knows, miami may have still won, but not by such a margin).

the same can be said for the chiefs and Jets game. I'm just glad the Jets lost because it puts buffalo at an advantage. The dolphins winning doesn't really scare me though - not yet.

Give credit to the Chiefs renovated D. I've never liked Penny. He simply doesn't have the arm strength IMO. Jets D will keep them in most games, but if the game rests on Chad's fragile shoulder NY won't be happy with the final results.

So, why didn't the Bills whip the Texans by a bigger margin? The Bills had the home field advantage, so you would have thought they would have beaten the Texans by more that 15 points.
