Sorry guys, I was hoping to be able to make the thread today but I just got home. Right now it's 76-67, and Channing Frye just hit his first three of the year. Thre more I watch him, the more I think we have a bright future.

Didn't see the game but just read the boxscore from ESPN....35 pts. for Starbury off the bench? and 25 for Frye as a starter again? Someone please verify that Starbury came off the bench and Crawford started. And ohh btw...Knicks lost 102-99

I don't know. I mean Frye's scoring has been impressive, but he was terrible on the glass the last two games and he only scores off open midrange shots ala Kurt Thomas. I may be wrong since I've only seen a handful of Knick games this season, but that's how he's been scoring. He's a great shooter for a big man I'll give him that.

He is not soft, he is tough. Give him time, he will get his rebounds.

Frye isnt limited to that open shot but he takes them because he gets them open due to marbury's penetration. He's also shown very good post moves. Basically, he's going 2 take what he gets and right now its that open shot. Hes been a good rebounder but he does have to get better and I think eventually he will. But 6 rpg in 25 minutes is pretty impressive.

Anyone besides me hate those old Knick jersies that the players were wearing today?

Those Jerseys were pretty cool, disappointed Ariza didn't slam it on anyone today.

Frye could be a better rebounder, but until he bulks up, he's going to get pushed around in the paint a bit. He's averaging 6 rebounds which isn't too bad. Rebounding hasn't a problem for the Knicks, though; they're 8th in the league in rebounds per game. Frye also has some moves in the low post and an effective hook shot. Right now the Knicks want him on the perimeter to make the opposition pay for doubling Marbury or Curry. He's also been getting points in transition using his athleticism to run the floor.
