anyone think the Jets are overhyped yet?

The Jets beat themselves. Coles dropped two or three potential touchdown passes. Nugent missed a field goal. Fumbles, fumbles, everywhere. Awful.

Don't get me wrong. The Chiefs played tough, but the Jets could just as easily have won the game had they played mistake free ball.

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (tko51)</div><div class='quotemain'>well, obviously, I was able to detect your sarcasm.

As you all know, playing in your home stadium is a big advantage.

that game would have had a different outcome if they had played in Denver (who knows, miami may have still won, but not by such a margin).

the same can be said for the chiefs and Jets game. I'm just glad the Jets lost because it puts buffalo at an advantage. The dolphins winning doesn't really scare me though - not yet.</div>

So, why didn't the Bills whip the Texans by a bigger margin? The Bills had the home field advantage, so you would have thought they would have beaten the Texans by more that 15 points.</div>

Are you trying to say that it wasn't a convincing @$$whipping?

Because it was, and anyone that watched that game knows it was much worse then what the score indicated.

We could have scored on them more, but with a virtual rookie QB starting, I think Mularkey kept it rather conservative minus the fact that he wanted to let the rest of the NFL know that he had faith in his prized QB.

In about two seasons when Mularkey and Wyche feel confident in Losman, they'll really set him loose on teams, and when we meet teams like the Texans (who by the way did carry some slight playoff expectations this year due to them starting to play well towards the end of last year) I think you'll see us light it up a lot more.

All in all, Losman passed his first test with flying colors.

Well lets see I picked yes the Jets to win the divsion even though the Pats will probably win it yet but I also picked Kansas City to win the West and go deep in the playoffs. So I think the Jets got beat on the road by a very very good football team. Now if they loose at home to Miami maybe we can start to talk but right now it's ONE GAME! Lets get at least 1/4 through to do proper anaylisis.

Nope, I'm not kidding. It looked like he slipped because all he did was kick a bunch of dirt in the air and send the ball rolling along the ground.

    It was UGLY.

That is exactly what Dale is saying. Miami's victory over Denver was a more convincing @$$whipping - just based on all 4 teams records last yr.

That's a life time in the NFL. Alot can happen; St Louis was an upper echelon team 2 yrs ago & now they are back to the mediocrity they are so familar with.

If I did a power rankings, the Broncos and the Rams would be really close to each other - I'm not saying that the Broncos are not a talented team - they are (but every team in this league has talent on it's roster somewhere - except maybe the 9ers), but I just think that Shanahan has lost his touch and if I were the Broncos' owner, I'd be looking at a replacement for him at the end of this season if he should fail to not only make the playoffs, but actually win a playoff game.

You're basing this whole criticism of me on one game - you know there's a very good chance that this is gonna come back to bite you in the @$$ - I'm looking forward to it.

those statements could have people placing you ahead of me on their 'homer' powerrankings.

Red White and Blue always looks good together.

BTW, those are some pretty big words from a guy who's team sports teal and orange and white, and happens to be called the Dolphins - the only known sea animal of significant intelligence to partake in homosexual acts.

hahahaha nice.... yea they whole jets game was completely ugly. Buts its just one loss and to a great team on the road in argueably the hardest stadium to play in on the road. Personatly i dont think they will screw up that bad every week (see 7 fumbles, missed kick etc etc etc and unfortunatly etc.) But if they can correct those mistakes and believe me they are correctably they will be a competitive team. If they didnt shoot themselves in the foot so many times they could have seriously made a game out of it.

Its true you don't understand sarcasm or basic satire IMO.

Most people know where I come from. I'll smack the 1st person that says Salt Lake City.

3 words of advice; Lighten up junior.

you just keep chasing that rainbow young lady.

I wouldn't even call that a true orange - it's more like a Pastel Orange.

Red, white and blue usually do look good together, though it used to bother me why the Bills had a blue buffalo on their helmet. Then, it dawned on me while watching them lose four Super Bowls in a row. If I did that much choking, I'd be blue too. However, I hardly equate the Bills uniform with the U.S. Flag. In fact, I find the notion a tad offensive.

You have a real fixation on homosexuality, don't you? Feel free to refrain from explaining. I don't think I want to know.
