HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THAT IS FUNNY.... ron artest is hated for every move he gets... i never got his hair cut... its pittyful... and its the exact opposit of him... it also proves he is not educated since he misspelled the words(being sarcastice here)
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting antonyo09:</div><div class="quote_post">The NBA asked Ron Artest to remove his tru warrior haircut. Do they have the right to do that?</div> Yea, they have to right to make them play in woman's panties if they wanted to. Nah, its advertising his label. Its like him wearing a nike logo on the back of his head.
I'm pretty sure if he takes this to the court, he'd win the case. He's not hurting anyone. What's the difference between that or wearing a head band that has your record label on it?! Stern is going too far with this.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Purple Fever:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm pretty sure if he takes this to the court, he'd win the case.</div> Yeah he would, and then the NBA would make a document called the "Dome Advertising Policy" that would prevent players from using their head for self promotion.
Wow that is just retarded. Stern is just hating on Artest. If that becames a rule then Stern is a retard. What's next? No tatoos?
is artest gonna change it, that's stupid if he does because of stern, stern has no right. I personally find the haircut hilarious and no matter what anyone says, like it or not it's bringing attention to his label which is what he wants
stern really is hating on ron ron, but i think the haircut is fresh, its reminiscent of anthony mason when he was with the hornets and the knicks

Yea, no doubt, but the players union would be ridiculous to fight for something as trivial as an advertisment on his head. Its a good move by Stern, we don't want to have advertisments all over the place in the NBA looks classless (like boxing)

As for the Ron Artest hairdo, I don't really have an opinion either way about it. This isn't the first time a player was asked to remove advertising from their hairdo. Anthony Mason and Corliss Williamson both had Nike swooshes carved in their hair, and they were asked to remove it.
Wait what do they mean asked him to remove it, its shaved into his head! So the league is forcing artest to roc the bald look? Didn't rip have Goodyear tires or something sponsor him to have his braids made like one of their tire treads?
Well I'm not surprised, Stern is trying to turn the NBA into the military. Pretty soon players are going to have to keep their hair short and everything...
My guess would be Stern dosent think Ron's new haircut would help the image of the league like his dress code would. Now theres going to be a haircode..
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting STCBBall3:</div><div class="quote_post"> He looked like an a-hole anyway.</div> I agree he looks like an idot doing it but Stern has every right to make him remove it, he's the boss as Fedex said...
