Mavs 102 Hornets 94 Grades: Adrian Again! The way Adrian Griffin is playing, you?ve got to believe that the rest of the NBA is scouring Lazy-Boy recliners looking for that special someone who is not currently playing (and we?re not talking Roy here). Griffin has an incredible start to go with an unbelievable finish. Scott Skiles had to be going nuts as it seemed like Adrian was everywhere. The Bulls took a big hit when an errant elbow from Dirk took out the Bulls starter, Kirk Hinrich, and the Mavs ended up playing without Jason Terry due to his hamstring (Kirk took an unintentional elbow from Dirk across his face and left the game with a concussion) No matter, this was still an exciting game despite the damper put on by the Bulls with their @#$&$^@-awful throwback uniforms (some things just should stay forgotten). FSSW : B+; It wasn?t FSSW?s fault that the Bulls were wearing those Chicago Stag uniforms. The Luvabulls couldn?t have made these jerseys looked good. +36 Johnson: B, As the Mavs keep dropping, Avery manages to continue to find able bodied replacements. Jason Terry was the only Mavs to perhaps have a sub-par game tonight, and I have to give credit to Jason for trying to go on his sore hamstring. Nowitzki: A, Dirk matched a season-high 35 points on 14-28 from the field despite starting off slow. +29 Griffin: A+; Adrian was everywhere tonight on his way to 14 points and 12 rebounds. Griffin had a nice box, but his box doesn?t even begin to explain how active Griffin was in this game. It?s just incredible that Adrian was just sitting around waiting for the NBA to call. +22 Dampier: B+, Erick delivered a solid effort with 6 points and 11 rebounds to go with some good moves clearing out the paint. Daniels: A, Marquis put together another very solid outing. Daniels had a good box with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists, but the impressive item that doesn?t show in the box was the improvement in decision making that Marquis is beginning to demonstrate. +27 Terry: B, Jason obviously bothered by the strained hamstring gave it a shot, but did not return after half time. Devin made the most of the opportunity. +0 Harris: A; With Jason hobbled, Devin delivered a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists. Throw in the game high 5 steals for good measure. +20 Diop: B-, DeSagana knows why he is in the game: To block shots, and that he did. Three blocks, 3 assists and 3 rebounds. Zero turnovers. +8 Van Horn: B-, Keith pitched in 13 points thanks to going 3-6 from behind the arc. The only downer was the 3 turnovers. +10 Armstrong : A+, Darrell gets the A for one play: The insane come-from-behind blocked shot on Erick Piatkowski?s fast-break layup attempt. Zero turnovers. +2 Marshall : DNP-CD. Powell: DNP-CD. M?Benga: DNP-CD. Howard: DNC-CD, Josh is out for the next few weeks with the ankle sprain suffered in the closing minutes of the Memphis loss. Podkolzin: DNC-CD, Pavel had surgery to repair his right foot and ankle and is expected to miss three to four months. Stackhouse: DNP-CD, Jerry was inactive, out with a sore knee that continues to swell. Typical Chef Ed Type
