We're feedin the post and right now we have a good 10 point lead. It looks like the Knicks are getting better.
I'm rooting for the Knicks to win, but they have gone ice cold in the 2nd half and the Clippers are only down by one point now. The Knicks need Marbury or Crawford to catch fire and stop the bleeding. They are a combined 3 for 18 on the night so far, and the Clippers have scored 7 unanswered points to start the final quarter.
hahaha you spoke to soon man.... First 3 quarters they were pretty good..They were fully capable of winning but always choke when its the 4th quarter... They get nervous in the 4th. 5 field goals in the whole half??? Thats pretty sad. Marbury looks low in confidence in the 4th and shows no enthusiasm..
It shows alot when the knicks rookie nate robinson plays with more heart than most of the knicks players... If he gets better from where he is now he'll be great. This kid plays with no fear and with energy... Hope he can only improve. The only difference between the clipper and knick team is Sam cassell.... I'd trade sammy for steph any day. Hes only a fraction of stephs cost too. Unlike Steph he steps up in the 4th.

The 4th quarter is always their best quarter. 2 nights ago they were down by a big margin in the 4th but they came back, The same with the sixers game. No1 got nervous. Marbury was just ice cold and how can he show confidence when he's playing horrible. I have to question some larry brown moves. Curry cant defend for his life so why is he in crunch situations. Penny wonders why he doesnt play and thats why. He chucks up threes and cant play D anymore. Its was just a horrible loss by the knicks. They had the game but they were robbed in the 4th. Taste of our own medicine.
Honestly, this is a bad loss for the Knicks...I have seen several Clipper games this year...and I have to honestly say this is the worst they played and they were without their most athletic scoring option in Maggette....now3 granted the Clippers have won other games without Maggette this year...but that was due to strong performances from other guys for 4 quarters....Cassell really only had a strong first quarter, he made some big passes in the 4th...but other then that he played bad. And Mobley was horrible for the 1st three quarters. So there is no way the Knicks should not have won this game by at least 10pts.

That's an 8 point swing right there favoring the Clippers. I thought the Knicks got out of their offense in the 3rd quarter. They stopped going inside where Curry was dominating in the 1st half. Both teams were ice cold in the 3rd, and the Knicks didn't take advantage of it and kept the Clippers in the game. In the 4th quarter the Clippers executed and made tough shots, the Knicks didn't and it was the difference in the game. Nate Robinson is a gamer, he kept playing until the end and didn't give up when his team was down by 5 or 6 with under a minute. Hopefully his competitive spirit becomes contagious. I think he's going to eventually be the locker room leader for this team.
Penny being in the game in the 4th quarter was actually surpose to be for defensive reasons...he matched up with Cassell much better in the 1st half then Nate Robinson....but the Clippers never really look to feature Cassell in post up Isolations, so Iam not really for sure why Penny stayed on the floor. But Larry Brown's original thinking was Penny's size could make Cassell's post up and mid-range game not as big of a factor. Also Penny was really the calming influnence that changed the game into the Knicks favor in the 2nd quarter last night the Clippers and the during the 2nd half of the Sonics..so Iam pretty sure that had something to do with Larry Browns' decision to use him in the 4th. And honestly, I dont think it was a bad one...I said at the start of the season that Penny is going to have to have an influnence on this team in order for the Knicks to be successful. And I still feel that way, I think he bring expereince and possible leadership factors that this team really lacks...noboy besides Coach Brown and Antonio Davis have been in more playoff battles, so the guy knows what it takes to be successful. The problem you had last night is that Penny had a 95' flashback, with the quick trigger on a couple of jumpers down the stretch that he would have burried a decade ago.... I think Penny has to know that his role is no longer a scorer in this league. And just embrass the leadership aspect that he can offer. And I think he will do that once he finds a consistent look in Coach Brown's rotation. I dont think Larry should pull him from the rotation, give him a chance to show is worth...that was just the third game he played in all year...but I think the Knicks will be a better team with him recieving some minutes....people quickly forget that he was the most consistent perimeter player for the Knicks in there last playoff series against New Jersey. And that wasnt even with him looking to be a scorer, it was just him bringing expereince to the table and doing some of the little things...I think he can still do those things.
i have a lotta respect for penny but against the clippers he really messed up in the 2nd half, baaaad passes, turn overs, even missed a lay up uncontested... he is getting old and he needs to work on his court vision, he is never the same penny he used to be
