I personaly think these are going to be the top 3 teams coming into the playoffs in order. (Not record wise) 1.Spurs 2.Pistons 3.Suns (addition of Amare will help alot)

If these lists are purely on current form then really What have the Heat done to be ranked on most people's top 3 list? they are still barely over 500. Seems people are going on who they have and not what they have done so far. Maverick's list looks dead right to me at this stage.
1. Pistons 2. Spurs 3. Mavs Pistons have been close to unbeatable thus far. The Spurs have been the Spurs, and before tonight, had won three in a row WITHOUT Man. The Mavs have won 4 of 5, but need to play some better defense, giving up 105 per the last 3. I really don't see how you can rank the top three any differently than that. Clipps have had an easy schedule, Miami is barely above .500, and the Suns have been reeling lately. To me, it's easy to see that the Pistons, Spurs, and Mavs are the three best teams in the league at this moment.

And with Pat Riley taking over, the team seems to be jellin' much better. It'd take some serious injury or a major collapse for them to stop short of the Conference Finals.

1) San Antonio Spurs - How can you argue this? You can't. 2) Detroit Pistons - Again, I don't see how you can argue this either. 3) Dallas Mavericks - I could see how you could say other, like Miami, or Indy, but Dallas has just been very impressive this year. They're definitely deserving on this #3 spot.
