Many people recently have stated Dwyane Wade as the Miami Heats best player.

Within 20 games of the season The Heat are 10-10. With Shaq the team is 1-1. Note the loss was the Indiana game where Artest put his foot under O'Neal going for a rebound. The Heat were winning at the time of that occurence and probably would've went on to win the game. Their win came against the Memphis Grizzlies one of the Western Powerhouses.

The Heat has been struggling without Shaq. So my queestion to you is that Is it fair to judge O'Neal now as the Heats most valuable player? Many people say Wade has surpassed the aging O'Neal, but with their struggles I think it is fair to say O'Neal id our best player.

i think the heat is struggling not mainly because of shaq's absence
afterall, mourning filled in the hole well considering he is playing with one kidney (seriously though, he was amazing for his age)

I believe it's more like consistency and the ability to stop other SF and guards in the game that cause heat problems

Afterall, they have Airball walker...who ruined dallas few years ago with the same problm with his inconsistency and lack of defensive mindset
At the same time, they have too many players that overlap each other in positions...making wade have to do too much is no good

once they play teams like pacers+detroit they will struggle defensively because they are outmatched in strength
vs cleveland they will be outmatched with their atheleticism and speed
