Nash and Kobe will probably be the starters at guard. That means that JRich, Bibby, Parker, Ginobli, Davis, Cassell, Allen and Mobley will all be fighting for spots. Of course I think Jrich should be a lock,since he's #3 in scoring and #2 in boards amongst guards. But a couple players will be getting hosed. I'm guessing that they'll take 4 of these 6 guards:Nash, Kobe, Parker, Allen, Ginobli, and JRich, which means Cassel and Mobley get dissed cause Brandt will make it, and the Kings don't deserve a representative. The Warriors are not getting enough press, I think JRich is gonna get stiffed again.
he certainly deserves a spot...however, he did last year too. it's gonna be tough, cuz there's a lot of good players going for not enough spots. call me biased (cuz i am), but baron and j-rich both should make it.
Clanking two free throws at the end with a chance to ice the game does not help. Nor does 7-17, 1-3 FT, 2 Assists, 5 turnovers, and giving up 35 to Allen. JRich has got to go back to cutting and slashing and forget about putting up All-Star numbers. Play his game and the accolades will come. From the couch, it looks like JRich is letting the clippings get into his head. (Although he played great on Fri against the Pistons.)
