    vs Phoenix - W
    vs Detroit - L

Today we have San Antonio which should be a nice matchup. Brand vs Duncan is always an interesting matchup, most of the time Duncan comes out with a slight advantage, but with how Brand has been playing this year it should be interesting. Brand averaged 24 PPG, 10 RPG, 58.8% FG so far against Minnesotta.

After the Hornets [who shouldn't be taken lightly], their's also the Rockets, and the Pacers later in the month.

Whoever was responsible for scheduling games this season should be fired. It's been ridiculous, and having the Clippers play the Suns, Pistons, and Spurs right after each other is another example.

The Spurs are banged up right now, and with the big 3 hurting, the Clippers have a chance at the upset. Clippers match up well and Cassell will force Parker to play post defense.

Tough overtime loss...but I think the Clippers still proved something a bit going into San Antonio...and pretty much playing a strong overall game. But I think that one glaring weakness of this team, that may continue to be a concern is getting those late game stops on the road. At home the Clippers can just out score alot of teams but on the road you have to be able to get those key defensive stops...because alot of the games especially the elite defensive teams like San Antonio, the final score is going to be very grind it out like games played in the mid-80's...not those 100 plus games that the Clippers are more accustom to playing. So I think we seen the last two games that they can score with elite teams but can they get the needed stops?

But I think the key now, is how well they bounce back from these back to back losses to Piston and Spurs...Those guys are the kings of the hill...but you dont want those two losses to create a trend and then it follows them into games against the Rockets, New Orleans and some of the lesser teams they will now face. So they have to wipe of those two losses and look foward...they will have their chance to prove themself against both again.

Why did Elton Brand foul Duncan after he got away with the first one? I know Duncan was 1-11 at that point, but it just means he's due to make his next two. Dunleavy should have learned from the Pistons game, intentional fouling doesn't work in the NBA. Both times it killed the Clippers momentum and they ended up losing.

Well, after losing 3 in a row, the team bounced back and won in Houston, but that 3 in a row definately hurt, so it would be nice to get a streak going now.

Actually, the Clippers won at home against Houston. The Rockets were tired and depleted, and it was somewhat a must-win for LA. The Clippers do deserve credit, though, for limiting McGrady to just 4 second-half points and holding every one of the Rockets' role players to less than 8 points. Their defense was solid, and leaving Ryan Bowen open on the perimeter was a risk that paid off, as Bowen shot just 2-11.
