Ron Artest for Milt Palacio. It would be tough for Utah to give up a legend like Milt, but his MJ-like skills arn't being used properly by Utah.

Artest for Jefferson or Carter straight up could help both teams, but a Minnesota/Indiana trade with something like Szcerbiak/Griffin for Artest could be good. Sczerbiak gives the Pacers another long range weapon, and Griffin could be a great backup for O'Neal. It would make Austin Croshere expandable as well.
There was an article of a rumor involving Dunleavy and Foyle for Artest and Foster. I doubt the fans would like that trade compared to Peja or some of the others mentioned already, but I think it is more realistic because you probably wont get full value for Artest because of his off court antics and the position the Pacers are in right now. Dunleavy is finally playing the way we expected him to after signing a 5 year $44m deal and Foyle is a shot blocking and rebounding center. He wont provide many points besides garbage buckets, but you already have JO. I think it would be a decent trade for both parties...

How about this- Ron Artest and Scot Pollard for Kenyon Martin? The salaries match; I think this would be a good trade for both teams, then run J.O and Martin as the 4 and 5.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Warriorfansnc93:</div><div class="quote_post">I think you grossly underestimate Odom. He could've been one of the best players in the league when he came out of Rhode Island, but he is too lazy and inconsistent to work hard and put it all together.
How about: Quentin Richardson Antonio Davis Trevor Ariza David Lee for Ron Artest Austin Croshere Jonathan Bender Samaki Walker <div class="quote_poster">Quoting houston_owns_u:</div><div class="quote_post">Jonathan Bender retired.</div> I know, but would it be possible to take his contract off the books?
Jermaine O'Neal has recently expressed a desire for 2 certain players he thinks will help the Pacers on their quest to the NBA Finals that could be acquired in a trade with Artest- 1. Al Harrington 2. Bonzi Wells (?) Al Harrington for Ron Artest sounds good when you consider how much Artest's value has dropped. Al would certainly like to come back, but I'm not sure if Atlanta would be willing to pull the trigger. Bonzi Wells seems happy in Sacremento, I think he is currently leading the team in points per game, and I liked his game winning 3 pointer against the Timberwolves. I don't know how much he would want to come to Indiana. J.O.'s comments for Stojakovic? He thinks Peja will be a good offensive threat, but will struggle to fit in with Indiana's defensive play.

This is simply a trade <u>idea</u> if you couldn't tell. Nowhere did I say Artest will end up in New York. And what other superstars did I, or any Knick fan say will end up in New York? It's almost cute how you can say something like that.
