WTMJ Channel 4 in Milwaukee is reporting that Bucks F Bobby Simmons will miss 4-6 weeks with a shoulder injury...MRI results came back bad Also, Bucks G Charlie Bell will miss 4-6 weeks as well, with a severe knee injury suffered against the Knicks Monday. Two huge blows for the Bucks... They need a backup G-F
Wow, this hurts. Toni has been playing really well, but only in short spurts, and he's not much of a wing defender. Jiri can come in and give us some offense, but we don't play defense with Bobby and Charlie, how the hell are we going to without them?
This is definitely a huge blow for the Bucks...can anyone tell me who is most likely to step up and contribute?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rocket:</div><div class="quote_post">This is definitely a huge blow for the Bucks...can anyone tell me who is most likely to step up and contribute?</div> Probably Jiri Welsh, as he's pretty much our top backup at the 3. Mo Williams will likely continue to start in our new 3 guard lineup, but Jiri will see more minutes. So will Toni Kukoc. Maybe we'll call up Ilyasova probably not though.
Finally got a print source The Racine Journal Times says Bell is out at least 6 weeks.... But Bobby Simmons is out 1-2 weeks....better news there http://www.journaltimes.com/nucleus/index.php?blogid=24
