Wow, definitely the best game of the season for the Rockets. Mutombo had his second good game in a row, and Yao punished the Warriors for not double teaming. And how about Ryan Bowen? I really liked that lineup we had on the floor at the end (Wesley, Head, McGrady, Bowen, and Yao). Looks like Derek Anderson will miss some games though. And McGrady seemed to tweak something in the second half. I hope he's physically ok.
This is the best game I saw since the season started. I saw really tough team spirit and confidence in this game. This is what we need . Bowen did a incredible job in hustling offensive boards. He and Yao both got 5 rebounds in the front court. Yao was dominating, he scored unstoppably and dished out several crucial assists to Head and Bowen. He's like super start tonight. But the premiter defence was garbage. We need to get that fixed. T-mac had a sluggish night, but it was reasonable since a 3 consecutive bursts he made the last couple of days. Anyways, I wish the Rox could keep up and expand their win streak as long as possible. Good job!
best game for the rox this season!!! Shooting wise tmac was pretty bad but he made a big three and block in the 4th ..... Yao ming bowen and head big plays won us the game.

His Stats were 23/8/8, (10 FTs), 2 blocks (one to shut out any hopes of Davis hitting the 3 and winnging it). Along with that 3 point shot with 24 seconds left to put us within 3. Howard is playing inconsistently, he started out the season making the nice mid range jumpers for this team and gets us 10-14 points a game, and 7-8 rebounds. Now he just completely vanishes from the boards. I think Swift's game is a little more consistent than Howards THIS season SO FAR. Luther Head, thanks for reviving clutch city!!!
he had 10 on 16 attempts...that sucks IMO he should have like 13 if he takes 16. 10 seems so low. I think T-Mac will be ok with more rest. This road trip is supposed to drain us. what happened to DA? I watched but I didn't hear anything
Is it me or does this game show that we REALLY need better PGs? Sorry but Wesley had trouble getting the ball to Yao and tMac, I can recall several plays when he couldn't even get the ball cleanly to TMac. Then that one play near the end of regulation, he keeps his dribble high and tries to dribble by Fisher and loses it, luckily we get bailed out by Head. Then I think it was in OT he couldn't get the ball to TMac and ends up driving to the basket, he had 0 chance of making it, but gets bailed out by a foul... and am I even gonna mention the foul on their 3 pt shot? Moochie... loses ball the time he touches it. Watching our PGs play makes me frustrated, after playing w/ Yao for 2 years they should know that he needs good entry passes and only as a small window of opportunity to work with, but they just cannot make those passes.
We start to do what we did last season: great come backs every match even against teams you need to dominate. Don't be so happy.
T'mac's back is still bothering him, I taped the game and saw him talking to D Fish about it. Ryan Bowen looks like he's on speed!!!He's always running, never stops, even for time outs he'll run to the huddle!!!!I wish every NBA player had that hustle in them.
I APOLOGIZE!!! I wined and complained about Van Gundy signing Ryan Bowen in here. I've been one of his biggest critics, and haters. I've said some pretty nasty things about the guy (and Wesley), but Bowen has turned into one of my favorite Rockets now. The guy has the heart of a lion, and without him our season would be over. I was totally wrong on this one.

I am serious they made like 5-6 uncontested 3s in a row! I dont know how we snuck back in, but we managed to. How can you not be happy. It's like we have a clutch switch or something. Plus who cares, you want everything. These past few wins have been entertaining. You want a championship to? Well that probably wont happen this season. Atleast the Rockets are still fun to watch. I thought it was funny that the ESPN announcers started off going for GS, because they have more wins, then they switched to the Rockets while they were winning. Then GS came back in the 3rd and controlled the tempo so the announcers were like, ok lets switch back to GS, I think they are going to win this after comming back because they have more wins.

He sports a chrome dome and is the boringest commentator ever. The old prick next to him isn't any better. But he isn't as dumb as tolbert who keeps degrading the rockets. He also wins worst dresser. Baron davis and jrich keeps dominating against rockets every game and we stole teh game from them because of a couple of clutch 3s. rockets performed pretty badly in 2nd half and GS is the 3rd worst team in the west or somethin and we have so much trouble against them all the time, even in previous matches. It was a lucky win And i dont know what's wrong with tmac..maybe he lost confidence when shots weren't falling, he just looked lazy as in not involve in the rocket's offensive plays as often in most of the game. He looked tired too. If tmac had kobe effort in the 4th, the warriors would have lost easily
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting drm2dnk:</div><div class="quote_post"> GS is the 3rd worst team in the west </div> WHAT?! As a Warrior fan I know I'm biased, but the 3rd worst team in the west? The W's have probably the best backcourt in the league. I'm not saying they're going to win it all but give them some respect. These are not the warriors of old.

At the end of the 3rd we were down by 3 and down by 11 with 4mins left. So, what am I talking about? Facts. And of course I'm still talking about Rockets as for title contenders because it's exactly what we expected from this team this year. If you are not considering Rockets in this way anymore, well, you admit in advance our season is a failure and, even in this case, I don't see any reason to be happy or entertained by something "still fun to watch".

Keep criticizing Bowen and Wesley, it seems they hear you and play well when you doubt their abilities and knock on them.
