I feel bad for Stan Van Gundy. He battled it out without Shaq and still remained first in their division. Then Riley comes in and takes his job right when Shaq comes back and makes him look like he?s a genius?Poor SVG so much ego on that team?

He didn't make him look like he's a genius. We barely got the win. by 3
I feel bad for SVG too if what they are saying is true...if Riley did push him out of office, then I do but we can't tell for sure.

I just hope that Walker and Williams dont team up and gangbang Riley's wrinkled butt because they are no longer allowed jack 3s and pass with one hand.

I laughed when he said the Heat has a lot of egos and read his favorite players are Ron Artest and Kobe Bryant. Man, what a clown. He's your stereotypical Laker Fan/Kobe Lover/Shaq Hater.

This is not the first time Pat Riley has done it, and you can't really blame him for returning to the bench once Shaq was healthy again. I don't think anyone thinks he's a genius, right now he's under the microscope until the Heat win a title.

Riley is a proven winner, and he won't put up with any nonsense from Antoine Walker and whoever else doesn't play their role. His presence sets him apart from SVG, and Riley will whip the Heat in shape from his demands in practice.

If the Heat players really came here to win a title, then this team will listen and get to the Finals. The talent is obvious there, and Riley has the mystique about him to earn the respect of the players, including Shaq.

Of course as a Laker fan I'm routing for the Heat to fail, but you have to respect the talent on the team. It's well balanced talent wise, and Riley will be responsible to get them mentally prepared.
