Anyone see it after the Rockets/Sonics game? Pretty cool to see the Warriors of all teams to get some pub. They actually had promising things to say about the team.

Could you elaborate a little bit more?

Yeah I saw it, good stuff. Must've been a record long segment for the Warriors on national TV. They just interviewed Baron and J-Rich, showed them buying the rookies some suits, and some analysis of the team and our boy Baron Davis. Kenny Smith and Magic Johnson showed respect for the Warriors, Barkley did somewhat, he still doesn't know much about the Warriors. Of the upcoming games for the Warriors he said they can't beat the Nets.... but uh.. didn't they beat them a few weeks ago? But Magic and Kenny corrected Barkley.

They interviewed Baron and J-Rich together. It was more of a "how do you guys like each other" discussion. The studio crew talked about how the W's are finally a respectable team that will win games.

It wasn't anything too deep or ground-breaking but I was surprised to see them talking about our W's for so long.

Yeah, Barkley doesn't do too much research at all, IMO. He's basically paid to open his big mouth and make not so bold predictions about the Spurs, Pistons, Lakers, and Heat.

I think that for the first time in a long time, the Warriors have somebody that the national media has interest in, with Baron Davis, who has been a star or at least a very good player for quite a few years now. Thus, along with a winning record, I would say it's likely to see more segments about the Warriors. In years past, I don't think too many people would have cared about interviewing Jamison, Dampier, Starks, Mills, or whomever.

Hopefully the Warriors can start beating some top playoff caliber teams and get a segment about making a lot of noice in the Western Confrence's playoff race and in the Pacific Division.

But gee, I hate not being able to watch the Warriors on TV...[IMG]

He's in Andris Biedrins country. I always dig Clif's comments. Very well written and thought out.

Haha, thanks Mr. Custodian [IMG] . But yes, I am currently in Latvia- Andris Biedrins' land, studying abroad for a semester. I have been here since late August. So no Warriors games so far for me, besides a little bit of the Kings preseason game that someone downloaded for me hehe. Thank you Internet! But yeah, Latvia is a nice country, with some very nice people, and very interesting places, but it is also with some strange politics and government stuff going on here. And sometimes going to my friends' houses here I feel like I walk back in time to the 1940s, hehe which is both cool and maybe strange too. Thank you Soviet Union, maybe...hehe. Maybe I am going off topic here too much, so I will end. But there will be no NBA on TV for me until January 19th...then I will be home again, hehe. nice... [IMG] 33 days I think...(sorry for this off topic reply).

But it's great seeing Baron averaging 10 assists per game. Hopefully he can start getting his FG% up and maybe shooting maybe fewer three pointers as he is 2nd in the league for most 3 pointers attempted yet only shoots 28% from that area. Not so good. Yes, stats are all that I have. But I think once Baron can get his shooting up to around 40%, like his career numbers, and with the way he's racking up those assists, the Warriors could be headed in a good direction. I am hoping that the Warriors can address their rebounding problems and maybe lack of disciplined offense, and then start to be able to beat some good teams and maybe get a couple more blow-out wins, so they can maybe rest Baron some more.

Oh and plus Barkley doesn't need to do too much research. He's played in the NBA and knows everything now. Well this is what he thinks. Maybe he doesn't have so much interest for the NBA. Just following Yao, the Spurs, Pistons, Heat, etc. is just good enough for him. And heck, I think people find him somewhat entertaining, so I don't think he's going to be going anywhere soon, but with his mouth, maybe...no, I don't know. Barkley is Barkley and will continue to be Barkley.

I'm pretty sure those are the same shirts that ASU fans wore to games. I guess they are custom made at some cheap t-shirt making place because I can't find any shirts like that on the internet.
