Not Emmitt but Nick Luchey :cheesey: Sorry coulden't resist! Luchey has signed a one year deal with the Bengals after being cut by the Packers on the 6th. Good pick up glad to see one of favored teams picked him up. Luchey was originally selected by the Bengals in the 5th round of the NFL draft.

Decent pickup for them. I think Luchey is a great blocker for Rudi when needed but not much of a receiver of special teams player.

this is not a dumb thread at all i love this guy, i remember a couple years ago when corey was still runnin the ball we had a couple games where we could not get the ball in on the goal line and luchey came in and pounded it in. Now rudi is a more physical back the dillon was, so we dont need him but it still is a good pick up, not only for his football skill, but cincy loves him

Luchey was one of my favorite Packers and I was terribly upset when they cut him, Im just glad it was cincy that resigned him and not Minnesota or Philliy. Vonta Leach better prove himself to be at least half as good as the Luch man.

I'm surprised Detroit didn't pick him up.

(Edit: Oh, wait...Matt Millen is an idiot, so I'm NOT surprised Detroit didn't pick him up.)

Jumping on the Lions' bandwagon after just one win? For shame. [IMG]

haha well the Lions weren't exactly spectacluar agains the Pack. If they want to make the playoffs they'll need to play better than that. Green Bay will need to play a whole lot better to have a slight chance.

haha im not jumpin on a lions bandwagon im jumping on a crappy nfc north bandwagon and based on last week the lions are the best team. I dont think the lions are that good but i think the lions will be the padres of baseball and get a playoff spot by default.

But you are riding the Vikings off after one week now. Are you not?

I think Culpepper and the Vikes will bounce back this week. I still think they should win the division. I also think the Pack may finish in 4th place this year. That O-line needs some help.

ok, I hate to point out errors, but it is driving me nuts. You "write" someone off... You do not "ride" them off... (at least I hope).

I'll "write" the vikings off until they get their o-line back. Right now they are in trouble up front, thats obvious, and we saw week one that Culpepper can't do it alone, and until they get another playmaker on offense (Williamson?) I will def. write them off.
