It worked wonders for the Warriors' confidence Friday and even more for Zarko Cabarkapa's. </font> <font size="2">The forward cracked double-digits for the first time this year with a season-high 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting from the field, 3-of 4 from 3-point range. He also started a crucial second-quarter run by finding Derek Fisher for a 22-footer, then hitting back-to-back treys. </font> <font size="2">"Confidence is the whole deal with Cabark," coach Mike Montgomery said. "He makes the first (shot) and you know he's going to get off to a good start. But if he misses a shot or makes a mistake, he tends to get down on himself, and he has to get through that. </font> <font size="2">"He's a good player, very skilled, and we need him." </font> <font size="2">Cabarkapa is nearing his one-year anniversary with Golden State. He was acquired from Phoenix on Jan. 3 in exchange for two second-round picks. Though he made his mark with his free-flowing style and flair for dramatic plays, Cabarkapa has been sluggish offensively to start his second season. He entered Friday's game shooting 41 percent, and both his fouls against the Raptors came on the offensive end.</font></div> Cabarkapa played exactly how he did last season. Once he scores, he's in the flow hitting nearly everything and then the game comes naturally to him. He had some nice passes that would have been assists. He's like Toni Kukoc, only more athletic. http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c...SPGJNG9NLB1.DTL <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"><font size="2">Briefly: Warriors GM Rod Higgins wasn't surprised to hear roughly two-thirds of NBA teams had called Indiana about Ron Artest. Feels like nobody really wants backup pf role. When Diogu was injured, Zarko played hard to give up back up pf spot to him. Then, when Diogu returned, exception of first couple games, Diogu played like he had zero clue, so back up pf spot is back to Zarko. Hope Zarko can shoot like last year. At least, Higgins didn't deny that Warriors didn't talk with Indiana. Let's see if Mullin can actually pull off the trade involving both Artest and Dunleavy...
Well, Kwan, the ESPN article you posted did mention at least two trades involving all-star talent. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Indiana Pacers president Donnie Walsh is "encouraged" by the quality of the offers he has received for Ron Artest, including what he said were at least two proposals involving All-Star caliber players.</div> So one of the two proposals must have been involving Dunleavy.
