Worst defence in the league. Playing the best scorer in the league and the second highest scoring team in the L. 'Nuff said. <font face=""Comic Sans MS"">- Interior Offence:</font> If I were Mitchell, I'd pound the ball inside every possible trip down the court. Webber is too slow to cover Bosh and Sammy is too agressive on defence looking to block every shot and that bodes well with Charlie's offensive game. Must be agressive and take it to the Sixers' bigs. <font face=""Comic Sans MS"">- Team Play:</font> With Jose out, the Mike James will probably be in full mode today. Remember, when James had his 35+ points games, we lost them. Must play team ball and move it. Keep feeding the post. Bosh must touch the ball on every position. I can't stress this enough. <font color=""Red"">Say What?! (Prediction)</font> If we can limit AI to 8 or under FT attempts, we may stand a chance at the win. We're due for a home win. Raps win in a close game. <font face="Comic Sans MS"><font size="6">.......</font></font></div>
defending AI is the key he always seems to light up the Raptors with 50 points everytime they play I think this could be a win if they Raptors can stop him.
I'd place my bet on Raptors... Might happen with all the sixers' airballs this season. Well the paper favourite are the Sixers but with such a young team it kind of feels right to bet on Raptors. I hope Chris Bosh explodes and takes Raptors to the win (because James will probably not). Good luck Raptors!
jose is out! eric is in. i think we lose this one.....Mike james is gonna be the chucker that he is. and or once i hope hoffa can rebound and play consistently and get more minutes. mitchell doesnt play him when we need him...he does give up the dumb foul every now and then but we need him now cuz of dalembert, hunter, and webber.
well im done being a raptors fan for the year! good luck to you all....i'd rather study! did u hear me? i said id rather study! i cant believe i feel this way...all this heartbreak that this team is giving is not good for my health. the only bball game i shall see is the finals for the season.....good luck to the raps and bye bye! Peace!
Disgusting. The Sixers are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA and we made them look like the best. We couldn't get anything out of penetration, our perimeter shot wasn't on, and Samuel Dalembert did as good a job of stopping Bosh as anybody. If this is the type of effort put forth in home games then the Raptors might as well play every game on the road.
haha...you bitter? o boii...watching raptors lose game after game sucks...it's like they stopped playing basketball after one half...man scoring under 20 points or something in the third...wow
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Purple Fever:</div><div class="quote_post">Watching Darrick Martin run an offence is like getting kicked in the nuts!</div> Fixed the sentence Nice game, the only thing that really bothered me was that AI only got 1 assist

It's JBB, you are free to post where ever you please. He is obviously just a little bitter.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Avery:</div><div class="quote_post">Iggy continues to burn the Raptors. Don't you just want to choke the life out of Badcock? </div> What does Babcock have to do with anything? He has made only 1 bad decision, which was drafting Araujo.
That is what he is referring to... who else in their right mind would have drafted Araujo over Iguodala?
I thought he was referring to all of Babcocks decisions. My mistake. BTW, yes, it is frustrating to know we could've had Iguodala.

In addition he already had a solid big man in the making so a young solid perimeter guy would have helped out moreso than another big body.

The Raptors had Vince Carter, Morris Peterson, and Jalen Rose holding down the wing spots, not to mention Lammond Murray and Alvin Williams who could all play there. Getting Iguodala before Carter had expressed his dissent towards the team, and with Rose still being a very productive veteran, wouldn't have helped the team as much as a center would, considering that we had Bosh taking a beating every game at the five the season prior. The center was our biggest need and Araujo looked like he might fill the hole. Yeah, it was a terrible decision to draft him eighth considering we could likely have traded down, but I don't think getting Iguodala at the time would be that smart either.

Also, we continued after that point to look for someone at the 3 with great defensive capabilities to be a stopper for us. First it was supposed be eric williams and then we drafted Graham this year to be that guy.. unfortunately, Iggy seems to be that guy now, that we passed up on in the draft. Also, i think the idea of drafting him would be similar to drafting CV this year - based on BAT.
I think its time to let Garham and Charlie to start and run with a lineup of PG - Jose SG - James SF - Garham PF - Bosh/Charlie C - Charlie/Bosh I dont think the Raptors are really gonna turn it around and make they playoffs I think we should also call up Sow and start playing our youngs and get them the experiance they need to be better next year cause this year is pretty much over in my books.
