For gods sake it was a Sixers vs. Raptors game [IMG] I don't like when people start telling me where to post or not,did I break the rules or what?</div>

nver said that...it's just that your post talked about sixers positives and from a sixers pov, i thought you were thinking of posting in the other forum...sorry if i offended you

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting a13x:</div><div class="quote_post">Not trying to burn you on this but at the time we could have drafted him Mo Pete wasn't under contract yet. Also, we continued after that point to look for someone at the 3 with great defensive capabilities to be a stopper for us. First it was supposed be eric williams and then we drafted Graham this year to be that guy.. unfortunately, Iggy seems to be that guy now, that we passed up on in the draft. Also, i think the idea of drafting him would be similar to drafting CV this year - based on BAT.</div>
Babcock had made it clear that Mo Pete would have any offer matched, and it was highly unlikely that he would have been let go even if we had drafted Iguodala. Simply put, the team's first, second, and third priority was getting a legit center, and Araujo was the best option we had, although he wasn't deserving of being picked 8th.

I still haven't figured out why Mitchell doesn't start your rookies, like Villanueva. Granted, he does get more playing time than Araujo or whoever is starting before him, but the Raptors would be better off starting their young guys and start developing them for the future.

And who would you suggest should come off the bench to provide scoring and balance out the two units?
