Wesley Haters: "Wesley Sucks! I don't know why JVG plays him!"

    JuLiO-R-:
" Wesley is still trying to recover from surgery, just give him time."

    Wesley Haters:
"No! Trade him now! He Sucks!"

Hmmm It looks like I was right. Wesley is starting to hit his shots now.

TRADE WESLEY NOW HIS STOCK HAS JUST WENT UP! HE IS WORTH SOMETHING!

JK, never hated on Wesley. Bill Worall told Wesley to step up b4 the 3rd, and he did.

Tracy McGrady with a clutch layup! only .3 seconds left!

Good thing because he got ripped by Kwame on the play before.

T-Mac won it! WOW I was pissed at the steal by Kwayme Brown, but T-Mac won it THAT WAS AN AMZING FINISH IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!! Left handed lay up on the drive. The ball was smacked like 3 times yet he managed to kiss it in! I love this game. DId not expect us to win this one at all, but hey we came through.

    Wesley 18/3/3
    Head 16/6/3

    Both stepped up baby.

Well Deke got injured [IMG] These injuries are going to hurt us down the stretch, but we don't play til Wednesday and that is against Toronto.

YEAH CLUTCH CITY BABY...And they say T-Mac is not clutch.

What a great game for the Rockets. Even more impressive than the Seattle game. Playing without, let's count 'em: Sura, Alston, Barry, Anderson, Yao, and then lose Mutombo in the fourth, but they're still able to get the win.

Great job by Mutombo, Wesley, and Head in this game. Mutombo's presence in the first and third quarters was huge, helping us hold the Lakers to only 14 and 15 points, respectively. Head shot 11 3-pointers, and I love it. Keep shooting, rook.

I was actually impressed by Kwame Brown's play in this game. PJ wanted him to play like Rodman, and he seemed to take that to heart grabbing 5 offensive boards and making numerous hustle plays.

The Kobe vs. T-Mac matchup was pretty interesting. I thought we did a good job controlling Kobe, but he had more efficient offensive game overall compared to McGrady. I was impressed by his patience, but also somewhat surprised he wasn't more aggressive in the fourth quarter.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting igotask8board:</div><div class="quote_post">I still don't understand how fatigue affects NBA players. Games are only 48 minutes long, and I have seen my high school basket ball team play back to backs with high energy and win both games. I can play BBALL 3 hours a day for 3 days straight without getting worn out. They claim it carries to the next day, but I believe its just an excuse they use if they lose.

Rockets need to beat the Lakers today, and finish the road trip strong.</div>
It's not necessarily the games, it's the travelling time between games. Imagine playing a late game, then flying into another time zone and landing at 2am, then waking up to play another tough game. Then do it 5 out of 6 days, after awhile it gets exhausting.

I cannot believe the Lakers lost this game, especially with Yao Ming out. Losing this game is inexcusable for the Lakers.

Well, I am happy they won and I hope this continues. As for the Wesley trade...He'll be traded at the trade deadline and their will be takers because his stock has just raised through the roof. He hustles and is an average rebounder. The reason for the trade will be to make the team younger and more athletic, but the reason not to is if we lack on defense after the trade becuaase wesley was a great defender. Wesley for a scorer, youth, and defense. Im expecting to get an expiring contract for wesley.

    10-13

.500 is the present goal for the Rockets before the end of December.
    sounds like last year
    Injuries killing expectations.

Rockets struggled more than half of the game. 76 points.

D and and playing bad team kept them close, then
TMac put it on his shoulders. He has got to be the leader of all leaders now
to get this team playing as well as they can and win. It will not be easy.

Yeah, he's a free agent. Why wouldn't we be able to resign him? Then again, there's at least like twenty people on this board who think he "sucks".

In actuality I don't want to see anyone traded, it's a bad thing that we've had a lot of injuries this season, but people need to keep in mind that we still haven't seen this rockets team even close to 100% this year........I mean this team can be really deep once we get Raefer,DA, and Barry back from injuries............but great game last night, Head,Wesley,Howard, and Deke all stepped it up big time fore us and shame on all those people who said that Tmac doesn't come through in the stretch
