I believe that Alex Smith will be a bust in the NFL as well as Ronnie Brown. Who do u think will be a bust from the first round of last years draft?

I can see a saga like the current one in San Diego occuring in San Fran, I think Rattay is in for a solid year and may solidify himself as the future of then 9rs if he can repeat it.

Cedric Benson wont be a bust but I think he'll have a shorter career.

I can also very easily see Aaron Rodgers being a bust(DAMN YOU TEDFORD!)

Carlos Rodgers could turn out to be nothing more than a Special teamer and the same goes for Pac Man Jones.

Ronnie Brown could quite possibly be a bust or a Gridiron god.

Alex smith is a bust waiting to happen IMO. Strictly a system success that would only work in college. Benson may be a bust, I have concerns about his quickness to hole. Pac-Man may be a bust, but i think rogers will do ok.

I didn't get to see anything on Benson last week, did he get any carries?

Aaron Rodgers = Rich Campbell ... Both played at Cal and both were 1st round picks by the Packers. Both are/will be BUSTS! [IMG]

I had said, on another fourm prior to the draft, that Benson would be a bust. I ended up taking him late in my fantasy draft so I hope I'm wrong. [IMG]

Alex Smith will be a BUST.
As much as I loved Braylon in college Michigan WR's in the NFL don't mix. BUST.
I am not jumping on Demarcu Ware's bandwagon. I still think he has BUST written all over him. Jumped to high in the draft because of the combine.

In other words, 1st round picks that are back-ups are a bust. Right?

Thomas Davis when on the field, ever time i see the RB get the ball i see thomas davis enter and help make a tackle. It was Thomas Davis first game and most rookies struggle their first 3 games

Adam Jones is like the Ultimate Bust right now...and so is Alex Smith. Ronnie Brown, i believe shouldn't start this year, he needs to get behind a veteran to share the carries to understand the game better. I was an Auburn fan, until we lost all 4 of our best players...but Cadillac is going to do better cause he has Charlie Garner and Micheal Pittman to learn from... While Brown...has no veteran RB...

I disagree with the assessment of Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown based on the other running backs they are playing with. Running backs tend to become ready for the pro game at an earlier age because so much of playing their position is pure talent and you can't teach talent. I think the performance of the offensive line is the greatest influence on the performance of a running back outside of the running back himself. Having said that, I think one game is too soon to know who is going to be better. So far, I'm glad that I picked up Cadillac in most of my fantasy leagues. He looked like the real deal on Sunday.

You know I though Cadillac was the best RB in this draft this year anyways. I believe 3 RB's will be good in the NFL. Williams the best. As for learning from another player. Thats a little overrated. Either you have it or you don't. I think if anything helps you it's coaching from your coaches. I mean maybe they could help him understand the system better in Willams case but Brown has a new system along with everyone else to learn anyways/
