    ^ it's not like it hasen't been done before... look at chicago last year. and miami the year before....

    So they go on a 2 game winning streak and you think they have a chance to go to the playoffs?

    I wouldnt jump as far as the playoffs this quick, but Im impressed with there play as well as of late. Their records not that great but there getting better and meshing as a team, they have too many swingmen and not enough bigs and gaurds they need to better assemble there roster in order to succeed, a deal has to be swung for them to be a playoff team which evens out there roster.

    Well well, the Hawks have beat some quality teams lately. I don't know about actucally making the playoffs, but if you look at their team and the pieces they have I honestly think they can contend for a spot. Especially since the Eastern Conference has been erally weak this season so far. The key for the Hawks though is to be consistent. They don't really have many veteran players, so they are an up and down type team,. But they have good players, if they keep their core together they can be pretty good.

    Playoffs is a stretch for this year, but possibly next year if they continue to improve and keep the core together.

    They've really come together these past couple of games... even in their loss to Philadelphia they showed some signs of maturity... if they keep playing like this teams will not be able to take them lightly, and if they do, the Hawks will get some wins.
