<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">AP - Mavericks guard Darrell Armstrong was so happy his beloved Washington Redskins beat the Dallas Cowboys that he grabbed a microphone before Sunday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves and hollered, "How 'bout those Redskins!" It's going to cost him $1,000. Dallas coach Avery Johnson announced the fine during his postgame news conference and team owner Mark Cuban later verified it was legit, much to the chagrin of a disbelieving Armstrong. The money will all go to charity, with Johnson saying the Cowboys would decide the recipient. The Redskins wrapped up a 35-7 victory over the Cowboys shortly before the Mavericks left the locker room to play the Timberwolves.</div> I thought it was funny so I posted it.
Id like to see that,I bet that the arena went silent for a second or to...might have been the opposite tho.I like everyone who doesn't like the Cowboys so Im not laughing so hard the next time Im watching SDC Armstrong took part in.
I saw it on SportsCenter and it was hillarious! What do you not understand what he got fined for. Dallas got whooped, so when he said what he said in front of Dallas fans that was basically disrespectfull.
That's Bull Pucky, how do you get fined for liking a team out of state? If I was on the Mavs, I'd be out of money
That is pretty stupid that he got fined for it. I like Armstrong's spunk in that situation, that is some funny stuff.. The NBA is throwing fine after fine at people..
How can you get a fine for such a stupid thing. He was happy that the Dallas Cowboys lost and not the Dallas Mavericks. That's a weird sitaution. I wonder whos going to get fined next because getting fined seems like the new thing in the NBA.
