Nextly, I have a philosophy about GM's making mistakes. I believe these GM's should own up to their mistakes, and that teams should have to bear the burden gladly. With Ainge making statements of resignation to his slip up, I have to appreciate the situation that brought them on. This may sound vindictive and silly, and to a good degree it is, it's just my personal feeling as a basketball fan, particularly a Celtics fan, a team widely resented for its lack of accountability in recent years. I'm glad the situation came along where Ainge had to bite the bullet and resign himself to making a poor decision. With all they've done with their picks, why give one up for this joke? Seems we were proven right again. Now if Scal would just come up lame, we could really get some satisfaction out of Danny.
I agree that the Dickau acquisition was puzzling...I dont think his tenure as Celtic will be very long...
Dickau has played his final game in kelly green. No if only Scalabrine would become attractive to a team that needs an unathletic hustle guy who frequently travels and has the ability to hit the open three.....in shootarounds...when no ones guarding him. One.
