MATCHUP BREAKDOWN

Zydrunas Ilgauskas v Jarron Collins ? The height department, the weight department, the skill department; Big Z has the advantage over Collins in them all. Z is averaging 8.6ppg, 1.7rpg and 0.1apg more than Collins with 5 extra minutes. This is not Z at his best, but he should still be able to surpass Jarron Collins here.
Drew Gooden v Mehmet Okur ? Gooden?s averages are somewhat lagging of Okur?s, but the man from Kansas averages 7 less minutes. It should be an interesting matchup, and one that Gooden will have to muscle his way through if he is to stand any chance.
LeBron James v Andrei Kirilenko ? I am thrilled that this game will be shown on television here in England for one main reason: this matchup. LeBron is in good form, scoring freely recently and Kirilenko is the AK-47 of the League; he?ll be physical and he has skills on both ends of the court. It will be interesting to see how this matchup unravels. My money is on LeBron, just.
Larry Hughes v Gordan Giricek ? There is no category in which Hughes trails Giricek and I expect that there will be no exception in this game. Hughes should prevail here.
Eric Snow v Deron Williams ? Although Williams is the more talented point guard, the veteran Eric Snow will be trying to give him a lesson in hustle and intangibles by shutting the youngster down. Williams is lucky that he, unlike former teammate Robert Whaley, was not suspended at all, merely fined for the incident last week. Williams should be on top statistically, but probable not mentally.

OTHER NOTES

[*]The Cavs are 3-1 against the Jazz since LeBron entered the League.
[*]The total score is 366-337.
[*]LeBron has averaged 26.5?6?4 against the Jazz.
[*]The Cavs are 13-9 (4-6 in their last 10).
[*]The Jazz are 11-13 (5-5 in their last 10).
[*]Carlos Boozer is not playing due to a long term injury, so yet again he conveniently avoids returning to Cleveland.

I was pretty upset at first when Boozer decided to leave, but it really ended up going good for the Cavs. Boozer now can't stay healthy and probably will never start for another team in the NBA...[IMG]

At least Okur has been a bright spot this season for you all...

Okur was our only bright spot last year, we're just trying to get in place for Reddick, Fazekas, or maybe Morrison [IMG]
