Since when has hoopsworld.com been a solid source for rumors? They said we were getting Sprewell, and I don't think he's in a Rockets uniform right now. This rumor is so ridiculous that it's laughable. There is no way anyone would want to trade Jefferson, a big time small forward, for a career underachiever in Swift. Not to mention McInnis is also not going to be a throw-in. Jefferson has a rather large contract and even if this deal is done, it would be for just Swift. We will definitely have to give up another contract, and it won't be a small one at that.
RJ and Jeff for SWIFT!!! That WOULD be VERY NICE, but I see that as the biggest made up rumor ever. Never going to happen in my eyes. The Nets could get a lot more than Swift. If they wanted Swift THAT BAD why didn't they sign him when they had the chance? This trade would really help us and we would start winning games until Mutombo came back. I just think it's too good to be true. Damn I hate hoopsworld They hear that there is a trade rumor between the Nets and the Rockets and that the Nets could not get Swift. So they try and make the Nets sound desperate for him and make up this trade. Like the NJN need swift that bad.

I don't like Swift and I would only trade Jackson to get him. Why would Jefferson be traded for an almost useless Swift. He hasn't really proved anythin then bein an underachiever. Thorn deserves to get shot, if he even thinks of trading Jefferson for Swift

I'd do that deal though... but i'd personally rather see us get a better offensive coach...
