MATCHUP BREAKDOWN

Zydrunas Ilgauskas v Jermaine O?Neal ? Despite being taller than his Indiana counterpart, Zydrunas Ilgauskas will really have a tough time in this matchup. Jermaine O?Neal is averaging 22-10, to go with nearly 2 and a half blocks, proving that he can score, crash the boards and reject shots. Unless Ilgauskas finds a way through the 6?11 O?Neal, he has a major problem.
Drew Gooden v Austin Croshere ? A pretty even matchup in terms of height, weight and floortime, and their stats are fairly similar too. However, the 10-8 Gooden should be able to surpass the 8-6 Croshere without too much trouble.
LeBron James v Stephen Jackson ? LeBron James should be able to easily counter Jackson here. Don?t get me wrong, Jackson is a pretty good player; but he is no match for LeBron in any statistic, nor in any intangible. LeBron averages 30-5-5 whilst Jackson lies at 14-3-2 ? not match for the King of Cleveland.
Larry Hughes v Jamaal Tinsley ? Larry Hughes scores better than Tinsley, whereas Tinsley passes better than Hughes. It should be an interesting matchup, with Hughes coming out on top due to height and other skills.
Eric Snow v Sarunas Jasikevicius ? Sarunas Jasikevicius definitely has the potential to cause the Cavaliers problems with his outside shooting. However, if Eric Snow digs down on defence, he should be able to prevent him for doing too much damage. Thus, there may well not be too many statistics to see from these two players.
