<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Dunleavy acknowledged Thursday that the Clippers have expressed interest in disgruntled Indiana Pacers swingman Ron Artest, who requested the team trade him.

"I talked with (Indiana CEO) Donnie (Walsh) this morning," Dunleavy said. "It was basically a conversation to get the lay of the land."

Artest recently had a change of heart and wants to remain with the Pacers, but Walsh told the Indianapolis Star two days ago that he is moving forward with his plans to deal the All-Star, who has had a long list of controversial incidents but was the NBA's 2004 defensive player of the year.

"Who wouldn't be interested in (Artest)?" Dunleavy said.

Dunleavy said he got the feeling that Walsh is taking his time, exploring all options and trying to come up with the best deal, which from all indications won't involve the Clippers.</div>

I don't know if I'll like Artest coming in.. we have a nice chemistry going here but I guess it'd be cool if we don't have to give up too much for Ronron.. Has anyone come up with any trade schemes that might happen?

This is a case where I don't want to ruin a good thing, Artest is a ticking time bomb of craziness and retardedness. If little was given up, and it was a situation where if he doesn't play well, we're not in any loss to just send him home, I'd be happy.

I agree completely. Plus he's not really needed anyways. Corey M should be back any day now and the Clippers already have Yaroslav Korolev and Quinton Ross as well.
