So far Kobe has 5 assists in the game against the Magic in 16 minutes. He's on pass for about 12 tonight. Lakers have a one point lead 33-32 so far. Mario Kasun decided to post a career night against the Lakers. He has 8 points and 5 boards already.
It's cool- I don't care why he's passing the ball: The lakers are up by 19 points in the third qtr. Kobe could average 20 pts a game, if the Lakers were winning- he'd still get MVP
He's up to 8 assists now, Lakers lead by 14. Story of the night though is Chris Mihm 20 points on 8 for 8 shooting from the field.
Kobe ended up finishing with 9 assists, but more importantly the Lakers spanked the Magic 104-88. Lakers head into the Heat game with a 15-11 record. The team had great balanced scoring tonight, everyone of the starters had double digits. Kwame Brown 9 rebounds in 18 minutes (5 offensive), keep it up big man! Note to Swish - Poo on you pal! Your Magic got Ocho'd!
Lakers win 104-88 Kobe finishes 6-16 with 21 pts 2 rebs and 9 assists. Mihm finishes with 20 on 8-8 Kwame grabs 9 boards
Good game, I knew Kobe would go on an assist-spree, and I'm glad he did. Now, look at this article I read about the recap of the game...now notice how they talk on how Kobe played, but of course they don't mention how many points or ASSISTS he had or how many free throw's he had, then look how they talk about Odom and Smush: In his first game since scoring a career-high 62 points against Dallas on Tuesday night, Bryant was 6-of-16 from the field. Lamar Odom had 18 points, six assists and eight rebounds, and Smush Parker added 16 points, five assists and five rebounds for Los Angeles. that crap makes me so mad, I swear it's a lose-lose situation for this guy
Good game. Kobe should've atleast went 8-16 from the field, so the media wouldnt talk smack about him..like espn.. who hates Kobe. Im gona be at the Heat game on Sunday.
Also, I liked the way Mihm played, he should play that everytime, except to stay out of foul trouble.

They wanted assists! I wonder what everyones excuse is gonna be this time for the high number of assists Kobe gave? he's selfish? huh...
It's so sad how they have to attack Kobe all the time..they treat it as if he can never satiate their wishes..I'm sorry Kobe doesn't make sportswriters happy, but his team is benefiting from his play and I'm happy (and I believe I say this on behalf of all Laker gans when I say) that the Lakers are winning...so yeah sorry ESPN and radio....Let's just ask Kobe to apologize for winning games....*sarcasm* Go Kobe!
Kobe's one of the best players of all time. He's worth over $250 million, his wife is a knockout. And he has probably the most loyal fans in all of sports. The little people (known as journalists) can bash him all they want, knowing full well that no matter what they say, they will never take away from the greatness he has achieved, something they will never obtain.
When your as good as Kobe is theres gonna be haters. Kobe had his career high in freekin' three quarters, thats unreal he could've broken Baylors record and got 71 psh, I think with the way he was playing he could've gone for 80. About his passing, Kobe recognizes when to pass if you havent noticed. When Kobe is shooting well and having a good night he tends to be a little more selfish and when he's not shooting so well he'll pass the rock like the game you guys mentioned against orlando when he was like 6-16.
