<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Their offense is in disarray, their unhappy coach is considering making changes and a few players are grumbling about an all-star taking some of their shots.

And we're not talking about the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson.

The team with issues is the Orlando Magic (9-14).

Losers of eight of their past 10 games, the Magic will have another chance to get on the same page and paragraph tonight against the Lakers (14-11).

The Magic lost to the NBA-worst Toronto Raptors to start a crucial six-game homestand Monday and then fell to the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday night.

Recurring themes in the defeats have been poor offensive execution, especially down the stretch, and carelessness with the ball.

The Magic rank 26th in turnovers and 30th in assists, a situation reflected in their 10-assist, 17-turnover night against New Jersey. They had seven miscues in the fourth period.

After losing to the Nets, Coach Brian Hill said he might make changes to the starting lineup, the rotation or in his playbook. Players bought into Hill's philosophies early but now appear to have fallen back into the old habits the new coach was trying to break.

Hill said after Thursday's practice that the lineup will remain the same -- for now. "I don't anticipate making them . . . not immediately,'' he said.

Grant Hill's return from hernia surgery last week caused excitement, especially after he hit 10-of-19 shots for 28 points against Dallas. But it also meant teammates would have to adjust.

Some have adjusted more than others.

One Magic player and another club source told the Sentinel that there has been some grousing from players who feel they are not getting enough shots now.</div>

Did anyone watch this game? I didn't because I had family over and I'm glad too. For anyone who did watch, what happend to Dwight? It said in the boxscore that he only played 2 minutes and had awful stats (2 points, 0 rebounds). Did he get hurt and if so, to what extent is the injury?

So not only have we lost eight or our last ten, people are now complaining that Grant is taking shots away from them. On top of that, Dwight is now hurt and our team can't score or defend all of a sudden. If we keep playing this horribly, expect the Magic to be busy before the trade deadline.

Howard came into the game averaging 14.7 points and 13 rebounds, tied for second in the league.

He was taken into the locker room just 2:42 into the game after scoring two points. The extent of the injury was not immediately announced.</div>
    I hope its not serious.

We are currently the worst team in the NBA right now.

Howard's X-rays were negative. In his second season, he never has missed a game but is listed as questionable to face the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.

"We'll work our way through this," Coach Brian Hill said.</div>
    He will be back

Toronto has won 5 of their last 11.
Atlanta has won 5 of their last 7.
Charlotte has won 3 out of their last 5.
New York has won 2 out of last 11.
New Orleans has won 3 out of their last 6.

Orlando has lost 9 out of their last 11.

So only New York could be considered as bad as the Magic lately.

Just wait guys. We may have hit a little slump but in a month or two I'm postive we will be playing better again. As far as the Dwight Howard injury goes, it isn't serious and he will be suiting up for tomorrow's game against the Bucks.
