The ongoing QB watch will start now, in honor of TKO51 and all of his pre-season "Bledsoe Bashing"... Bledsoe - 226 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, 7 Rushing Yards, 1 Lost Fumble vs. Losman - 170 yards, 1 TDs, 0 INTs, 33 Rushing Yards, 0 Lost Fumbles Both QB's won their games. Bledsoe was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Round 1 = Bledsoe (Stay tuned for Week 2!)
Is it just me or is Dallas and Detroit seem to by hyped up a little to much after one game. I do think both are improved but the playoffs are no where near in the bag like some of the fans seem to think.

However, there is probably good reason that Dallas should be just a little more hyped more than they were last week at this time. After all, they did take a brand new defense and "old" offensive players and beat a 12-4 playoff team from last year....on the road. You gotta remember, the media is looking for the next 4-12 to 6-10 team that is going to rise quickly. Its been happening most years lately, so the media has to latch onto their next potential darling as quickly as they can. Unfortunately, thats the way they work.
Week 3 and I think Bledsoe has a comfortable lead. If I had told you that after 3 games . . . Drew Bledsoe would have a 103.7 QB rating and Payton had 79.9 (Losman 60.0) Terry Glenn had matched TO in receiving yards 336/335; Dallas would be ranked 5th in the NFL in total offense due to the passing game; Dallas would be tied for 6th in scoring (25.0 T-Philly); Would you believe me? Strange times indeed.
Bledsoe looked good towards the end of that game. He wasn't great but he did what was needed to win. I bet the Bills regret letting him go a year to early.
I'll admit that they probably made the right decision to go with Losman this year. Its what they needed to do. However, even before Dallas picked up Bledsoe, I thought it was dumb to say Bledsoe was washed up and that Losman was already better. Obviously, he's still somewhat servicable.
I agree 100%, Cowboy71. They need(ed) to go with Losman for the team's long term future. I, like you, also can't abide all of the Bledsoe bashing that went along with it.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>why didnt you do week 2?</div> Because TKO wasn't around to enjoy it.
I disagree I think another year for Losman would of been better for him. Reasoning he broke his leg in preseason a year ago and couldn't practice for a long time and he lost a lot of learning on the Field. Thats why it would of been wise to give Bledsoe one more year and bring in Losman next season where he'd likely suceed much better and earlier into the season then he is now.
