Lakers were once again victorious on friday night with a 104 - 88 win over the Orlando Magic. I was impressed with their first half finish. I was sitting in my so called lucky chair when I noticed my need for restroom facilities. At this point it was 39 - 37 Orlando with about three minutes left in the half. After paying my tab in the restroom, I returned to my lucky chair to find that the score was now 54 - 40 as the Lakers had reeled off a 17 - 1 run. These are the things playoff teams do.... These Lakers are starting to get a swagger about themselves. A stagger that shows they respect themselves, they don't expect to lose or fail. This kind of thought process is necessary for winning teams to be competitive, for them to stay in games even if their 'A' game is leaning more towards a 'C' game. Let's hope they bring this with them tomorrow againt the Heat. Hate or Love it. Kobes on top. What a way to start off an M.V.P season. I am confident that the lakers will win the pacific division and kobe will not only win the m.v.p award but he will get his respect from stupid pathetic fans and sports anchors from BSPN. As far as lakers and heat go. I expect kobe to score 30+ as usual and Smush Parker to step up. Payton is not the glove no more so i expect smush to burn him at both ends of the courts considering paytons lack of defense. After watching my second favorite nba player Vince Carter demolish dwayne wade, I expect the same from the red hot kobe bryant.
