<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">NY Daily News - On Jan. 2, the Suns finish their first major East Coast swing in New York against the Knicks. The next day, when they're home in Phoenix, Amare Stoudemire is scheduled to start running and shooting. Stoudemire has been out since early October after having microfracture surgery on his left knee.

"He's way ahead of the timetable at this point," said coach Mike D'Antoni. "The MRI's look really good, better than what they should look at this time. But that won't speed up anything in terms of when we think he'll be back." The Suns are still projecting a mid-February return for Stoudemire.</div>
The Suns will make the playoffs.

The Suns will probably make the playoffs without him just not as a higher seed as they would him. The chemisrty will be messed up the first few games.

yeah hopefully amare is still explosive enough. If he is just like his normal self, i cant see any trouble from nash and marion, who will be freed up big time and have more shot opportunitys just because of amares presence.
Sun will make playoffs with nash and marion, but to go any further, they needed amare healthy and back to his normal, posterizing self lol.

Maybe for a few games at the most. You do realize we had a very different lineup this season and they gelled really quickly as a team, so obviously the guys on the floor (and with d'antoni directing them) know how and are willing to play team basketball.

Not really. When you have a player like Steve Nash who averages double-digits in the assist department, team chemistry will be easy to develop. It may take some time, but don't expect them to struggle much as a result of messed up chemistry. If anything it will give this team more balace, Amare's inside presence will make this team even more dangerous.
