Ok i have come to the conclusion stephen graham is going to be a great player for us. He has a great three point shot. From the looks of things he can one day become a great defender on ball and off ball. He is also a great athelete measured 37 inch vertical in nba combine but some how fell undrafted when many coaches concluced they couldn't tell which one was stephen or graham. Give him some time and graham will impress you. Oh and why trade for ron artest when you could have a future ron artest without the problems. This season if he continues to get playing time and the hang of things i think he could average 15/7/2 if things go real well and houston might not have to worry about the other wing. Your thoughts?

wait let me get this straight you think that stephan graham is the next artest b-ball wise. the same guy who was left undrafted, was dropped by two teams and now plays for a team that has the people they want on the court injured. he may have had a good game but you cant measure a player on one game. no disrespect but how can u compare him to artest who for the past four years (excluding the last) has constantly shut down his opposing number. the winner of the DPY award. nah man youre fooling youre self, hes a good, young , player. has a bit of upside. but to say he can be the next artest so early....nah man! no way.

i did not mean that he would be the next artest but i think if his rookie season continues to progress like it has i think he could be more than a solid player on the wing for the rockets. I mean it does not seem likely that he would be the next artest but i ment that he is a good fit for this team and could end up being a big contributer this season because he is another atheletic wing. but what i was saying was that if he continues to progress and hit his open shots and him and luther be an even force on the offensive end like taking it to the hole creating oppurtunities houston may have a chance to wing more games because they will have time in guarding all three perimeters. and if stromile progresses more he can be our explosive inside force that the guards could create oppurtunities for him to finish. i say this because it does not seem likely that wesley or barry will be able to create many shots for themselves because they are old and not as atheletic ne more and luther and graham are so dats my opinion on that and i highly doubt ryan bowen could create ne thing at all either. The only other person in back court i see creating much is rafter alston and maybe derek anderson

If he's so good, why was his twin brother Joey taken in the draft but he had to go to the cba first?

You are logically wrong. His and his twin bro's b-ball capability are two independent incidents. His bro's capability dosn't necessarily affect Grahm's. However, i'm still so reserved about wheather he's gonna be a great player or not.

He is decent...he's athletic, smart, and has a nice NBA body, but is years away from being a significant contributor...I like his energy and effort and how he slashes the basket, but he still lacks defensively and with his shot...

This is a rookie playing on adrenaline rush right now. It's his first time on a regular season NBA roster, and in the first few games, he will play with a lot of energy to show himself. Wait till he settles down to find out his true capabilities. We saw the same thing with Head in the preseason.

Ya but Luther Head has stepped up when needed and so can Graham. This draft and the next years draft are filled with players capable of making starting lineups. Stephen Graham and many more should have been drafted. I don't know why they weren't but I think with time graham will be a solid contributor. Nothing like Ron Artest, but 7 points a game with 5 rebounds in the nexdt couple of years will be fine with me.

If S.Grahm can show he has some one on one skills, he may earn himself some playing time when everyone gets back. He took the ball to the basket a couple times in the Denver game and looked decent.

And as we know at the present time we are lacking play making ability.
Grahm is miles away of proving himself though. He has not gotten enough touches to say he can make a difference just yet.

I feel bad for D.Glover who would have had a great oppurtunity with his driving ability to show off with all the injuries the Rockets have had.

    D. Glover could be getting playing time as every other end of the bench player we got. He was with the org. all the way through the summer and earned his spot along with L.Baxter.

He could have seen some PT like Baxter is. Thats all I was saying
