I can see Deron pulling off a big offensive game tonight, but his big PG body and skills to use, since Damon Stoudamire will be playing him the majority of the time with B-Jax out. However, I can also see Pau pulling off a monster game against the Jazz frontline; nobody can contain him (on the Jazz).

I think Miller, Battier, and Gasol will have huge games. I pick the Grizz to win by 12.

    Grizzlies - 103
    Reffs - 105

That was the most horribly officiated game I have seen in my life, without a doubt. The Jazz went on something like a 20-0 run to end the game thanks to a lot of bad calls and no calls by the reffs in their favor. I'm not just an angry fan exagerrating. I take most of their losses graciously, but in this one, I can recall by memory tons of specific plays where the Grizzlies were f*cked over. I hope a tape of this game goes to Stern and every single reff involved gets fired.

    Fix

Jazz win in OT, 105 - 102. Andrei Kirilenko returned and started. Utah had four players with 20 points or above, they were Okur, Kirilenko, McLeod and Harpring. Giricek didn't play.

Funny that you say that.... I was about to come here and say the refs were horrible for the Jazz. I also recall several plays where they made bad calls. Like the foul on Ostertag when he didn't touch miller. Oh, how bout the foul on Okur that fouled him out, when he CLEANLY swiped Pau? Yeah, bullshit. Since you also recall plays, I would say this game was officiated poorly both ways. But not that bad.

Kirilenko.... 24 pts, 14 reb, 3 steals, 2 blocks.... a 3 pter to send it into overtime, the block on Gasol in OT, the steal at the end..... cmon. Are you telling me the Jazz didn't play well and that they didn't deserve it? Saying the refs won this is very ignorant.

I'm not trying to take anything away from the Jazz. They played just as well as the Grizzlies did tonight and are definitely a playoff team when fully healthy, but you have to question the reff'ing.

I don't know which foul you are talking about with Ostertag and Miller, but Mehmet Okur clearly fouled Gasol at the end of the game; you can't slap someone across the arms like that. It wouldn't have even mattered though if the reffs would have made the right call with 1:49 left in overtime, when Pau Gasol barely touched Kris Humphries, yet for some reason the reffs decided to send him to the line to knock two home and give the Jazz a one point lead. Then there was the phantom foul on Kirilenko by Eddie Jones towards the end of regulation (not the last one, but the second to last one with about two minutes left). I could list more than ten easily if you want, so it's far from ignorant. If the Jazz had won by more than ten points, then it'd be ignorant to blame this loss on the reffs, but it was a one possession overtime win with a lot more than ten bad calls. Just one or two of those calls going the other way could have dramatically changed the outcome of the game, especially in Utah's big run where the momentum was in full swing for the Jazz.

LOL [IMG] How did we win on a 20-0 run? I missed all this yesterday, we always get screwed by refs anyways, a la Kobe flop. We won, now it's time to go beat those Rockets!

You got screwed by the reffs? It was the other way around. As for your 20-0 run, it's hard to believe, and it's nearly impossible without the aid of some horrible reff'ing.

I didn't say we got screwed yesterday, I meant we always getting screwed, it's the NBA. Those fat little refs just aren't fast enough to keep up with the the NBA players.
