    Rex Grossman - #8 - Quarterback - 6'1" - 218lbs
QB Rex Grossman had the cast removed from his surgically repaired ankle Tuesday. "Now I'll do range of motion stuff and work on movement in the hot tub," Grossman said. "Once it's strong enough that I can put weight on it, I'll start lifting. My calf has gotten pretty skinny." Grossman's goal is to be ready for the December 4 game against Green Bay. (Thu. Sep 15, 2005) i think he is pretty set on comeing back and i think if he does it will be good inless of course kyle is really good i just hope if he is back he stays back

I get the feeling that Grossman's days as a starter in Chicago are over. Be prepared to have Orton as your QB of the future.

Well even so I don't think Grossman will be ready to play for a while yet. He's probably on his way out. Orton is a rookie so you can't judge him on whether he's good but if he starts all year and does decent towards the end. Their be a QB battle next season Chicago were to decide to keep Grossman as well.

Rex Grossman is a Tim Couch...or Akili Smith, he's not gonna go anywhere...Kyle Orton is the better choice...

I really liked Grossman when he first got to the Bears. At that point, I think he was better than Orton. These injuries, however, have to be taking their toll on him. I just don't think he's going to be the same player.

If Orton can stay healthy, he'll remain "the man" in Chicago.

Same thing will happen to Boller, he will be replaced by Anthony Wright.

i think Grossman will come back and start a game this year. Orton is gonna struggle a lot, and Grossman might give the bears a final push for the end of the season
