he came back from injury for more than 2 weeks now, i heard rick kamla talking about him still playing under that injury in fantasy hoops a few days ago, is this true? this is the reason why he had been inconsistant lately? what kind of injury was it

He is still wearing that braise on his knee, but I am not going to say that is why he has been inconsistent. He was struggling even before he got the injury. He just cannot seem to create his own shot this season. This is in part due to all the defensive attention opponents have given him this year, but it is also due to a lack of aggressiveness. Last season he had a big man down low drawing double teams which freed him up a little to go to the basket. This year, however, teams have played him tighter, and because of that he is settling way too much. The only memorable game I really remember him having this season was against the Knicks, and even then he was shooting threes, and rarely driving to the basket. I don’t know what's up with him, but he needs to step up his game quick. Or he may not be a Bull much longer he is primary trade bate right now, because teams are still high on him due to his success last year. The Bulls could use him to acquire a big name center/power forward, and then choose to go with a bigger back court by drafting Ronnie Brewer with the Knicks lottery pick.

in that game against the cavs when he had 22 pts, i saw him drive to the basket a few times but it was just right after he received that one pass... so after he jumped up and ready for a lay up(contested but still could have made it) he passed the ball back out..... that happend a few times, he do that probably b/c skiles dont allow 1 pass if he allows gordon to just score then you will see hiim attacking the basket way more

This is the same offensive scheme he had success under last year, minus a big man. So I don?t see how Skiles coaching has anything to do with him hesitating to take shots this year that he took last year. The problem is he has lost his aggressiveness, because of all the defensive attention he has been given this year. He needs to find a way to create his own shot or he will never be anything more than a bench spark in this league. I know I am being hard on him, and don?t get me wrong I?m a huge fan, but I am not going to sit here and make excuses for the faults in his game. As for your reasoning that Skiles would like more than one pass per possession. Yeah, that is probably true, but what coach doesn?t? I doubt Skiles tells his players you have to pass the ball ___ amount of times even if it means passing up a high percentage shot.

well gordon is a hard worker like arenas or kobe, so he'll learn and get better... hopefully the bulls dont trade him and he can step his game up in the future games, and anyways the bulls are sharing the ball well there are always more than 4 players gets double digit scorings

Doesn't mean a damn when you're losing though.

Best Kept said it perfectly, hes not aggressive, hes settling for set shots. He definetly needs to get back to attacking the basket, 66 FT attempts for your supposed best 2-guard is just ridiculous.
