Bryant on Tuesday was named the NBA's Western Conference Player of the Week for the second straight week.

In winning his third weekly award of the season and helping the Lakers to a 2-1 mark, Bryant averaged 40.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists in three games. He scored an NBA season-high 62 points against the Dallas Mavericks on December 20 in just three quarters - the most points in the league in over 11 years.

Two weeks ago, the Lakers sharpshooter averaged 33.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists. </div>

So far Kobe Bryant has three of these. Back to back!

Okay, and what's your point? Who cares if Kobe scored 62 points in three quarters? Iverson, Jordan and Wilt are the only players in history that has four or more scoring titles. I don't why I even bothered taking my time and replying to you... [IMG]

Last not start this Iverson - Kobe thing. It's simple: You play the game to win! Championships that is.

Iverson has four scoring titles and no NBA championship rings. Bryant has no scoring titles and three rings. "I'd trade all of 'em for one of his rings," Iverson said. "People think I care about something like scoring titles because of the way I compete and the way I score night in and night out. I don't want to just be a scorer. I want to be a winner." Say no more!

^ Well, you touch the ball that many times of course you'll have T.O. but thats made up with the rebounds and points.

Now if you score 7 pts have 2 rbs and 7 TO's then there is a problem. TurnOvers will always occur when you touch the ball alot in the game.

The thing is also its not all about scoring thats why people consider Kobe the best gaurd in the game today, he can score and defend which sets him apart from the Iversons and others.

Iverson and Kobe on the same team? They would take about 60 shots together. [IMG]

Yeah that number isn't pretty but like everyones saying...when he handles the ball 50% of the time and he still accounts for less than half ofhis teams turnovers on a night when he turned the ball over at double his usual rate... it says something about his ability to handle the ball- very well.
