Have to take this win for what it's worth. A last-second win at home against Boston. Like I said earlier, we better get used to the opposing front line players getting season highs against us though. The bottom line is that we need Pietrus to come back healthy and/or make a move for a shotblocking 4 to come off the bench.

Also, did anyone else laugh when Dunleavy told the crowd to shut up. I think he's starting to get bitter, which may be a good thing.

Great win. I'm glad to see Monty play Ike until he fouls out. Hopefully this will continue next game. Couldn't watch the game, but from what I heard, Foyle sounded good off of the bench with a good spark.

I think he was quoted at saying, "I know what I'm doing," in regards to the crowd booing when he didn't shoot when he got the ball in the paint. He opted to dribble out to the wing and have Baron setup a play, which was the right choice, IMO, as there was 20+ seconds on the shot clock.

Funny stuff nonetheless...I think he needs to be more angry.

That was a much needed win. The Warriors have the parts that they need to get better but they need a chance to play together. Those shots by JRich are exactly "closer/finisher" shots that win games (Pierce came up with a couple too) but yes the offense needs to be more urgent early in the shot clock without shooting fast; just run the offense and get a good shot.

Baron played magnificently. Anyone notice 15 pts and 12 assists on only 9 shots (1 in second half) and 2 or 3 turnovers. Late in the shot clock, I wish he would shoot some pull ups or runners in the lane but he passed them out with the lane closed in.

    Good to see Dunleavy contribute.

Went to the game last night, it was amazing.

Foyle played great but from where he belongs, from the bench.

Murphy was a blackhole, the guy needs to pass the ball...seriously. Dunleavy had a nice little floor game and told the fans to "shut the ***** up". JRich was money all four quarters. Diogu's not a very good defender but he can score a variety of ways. Great touch.

Our defense sucks. Just like Barnett has been saying, they need to stop playing this lazy help defense. It's leading to wide open drives up the lane.

What's up with that? I even yelled at the tv when he didn't finish it when he was that close to the basketball. I think it was the next possession when he air balled a 3pt attempt. You guys think he is happy here?

Dunleavy has a good relationship with Mullin. Mullin has a lot of confidence in him so I can see where Dunleavy gets the motivation to gut it out and be committed to stay here another 5 3/4 years.

As far as the team that's another topic. Dunleavy has been bickering with Davis for a few games now and the last two I went to I saw them bickering at eachother during a few timeouts. Davis wants Dunleavy to play with more heart and Dunleavy wants Davis to play smarter. Both are right.

One thing I will say is that Dunleavy is starting to realize that he will never get plays ran for him so he's a lot more aggressive. He also has a good chemistry with Diogu.

Baron is asking Dunleavy to play with more heart?

Damn, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. Brian Cardinal, Mickael Pietrus, or any energizer off the bench tall enough to
play small forward seems like a better option than Dunleavy. Probably better defender too.

    Hometown Criticism Getting To Dunleavy
    29th December, 2005 - 4:16 pm
Contra Costa Times - The Oakland Arena crowd got all over Mike Dunleavy on Wednesday for kicking the ball out of the low post and passing up a shot. Dunleavy gestured to the crowd with his hands as if to say "Relax, already!" He did the same thing moments later after he nailed an outside jumper.

Dunleavy was not amused after. "I'm really tired of the negativity around here," he said. "We're trying our best. We play hard. If they're going to come out as fans, they shouldn't be negative. I didn't see enough (Boston Celtics ) green out there to get so many boos." Dunleavy later passed up another shot in the fourth quarter and the shot clock ran out on the Warriors. [READ]

His comments piss me off. Theres a REASON the crowds are pissed, he just plain sucks this season. He shouldn't be getting mad at the crowd for that. He damn well knows he ain't worth 44 mil and shouldn't be playing more than 25 mins a night. The crowd has way more reason to complain than he does.

He has been playing better lately. Why boo a guy that's going to be here for awhile? Having him disgruntled does nothing for his already incredibly difficult trade status. I was getting tired of his play, other than the one dropped pass and 24 clock brain fart he played well last game.
