When we're bad we're awful to the point of being unwatchable. Offensively and defensively we just have a way of, to paraphrase Nate McMillan, 'playing the game the wrong way'

BTW, has this season's team ever made a run on the road to close a 20+ pt deficit? Not even to win it, I mean just to close it to 8, or 6 or whatever, like teams do to us at home.

we allowed them to shoot 58% from the field. something has to be done about our defense.

I didn't see the game tonight so anyone who did should correct me on the assumptions that I'm reading from the box score.

Obviously Ron Murray tried to gut it out and play with his fingers jammed--partly b/c Ridnour remains "nauseous." I'm not going to question Ridnour's toughness considering that he has been pretty durable in the early stages of his professional career but if Ron Murray, who by most accounts, isn't a pure point guard, why is Mateen Cleaves only playing 6 minutes in Ridnour's absence? You are putting the primary ball handling responsibilities exclusively on a banged up combo guard and one of the league's most liberal shooters in Ray Allen. For the good of the team Flip played and obviously hurt the team tonight. It would have made more sense to keep him in the game as an off guard moreso than a point guard to limit his decision making with a bum hand.

Why is Nick Collison only playing 15 minutes? Am I missing something or is he not only the future of our frontcourt but also currently our best all around post player? The kid has no obvious flaws but yet he is relegated to rookie minutes. I understand that we are getting some unexpected scoring from Reggie Evans lately, but that shouldn't account for Collison erratic court time on this roster. Reggie Evans confidence is sky high and he is doing some pretty remarkable things in the post, but there is no one that will convince me in this forum that we are a better team with Reggie Evans as our primary lost post option. This scoring output should bode well for Reggie in the free agent market but for our team to win we need to get consistent contributions from Nick Collison and Danny Fortson.

Glad to see Damien get off. He must have had added incentive since he signed with the T'Wolves this offseason. They are the reason why he is 15 million dollars richer and I'm assuming that he wanted to assure their management that they didn't make a mistake offering him that money. Too bad his incentive didn't rub off on the rest of the crew.

Fortson getting thrown out again certainly doesn't help our cause. At some point Bob is going to have to show that he takes the job of a leader seriously. Not at any point during this season has he taken a stand on anything. Ray Allen is going through the motions, Vladimir's production is as predictable as a schitzophrenic, Sweet Lew is counting the days until he can opt out, and Bob Weiss is just on his one knee contemplating what magic trick can reverse the Sonics fortune.

My new year's wish is that the only person who is capable of turning this ship around relieve himself of his current duties and take a shot at coaching this ball club. Anyone interested in Rick Sund the head coach? I'm just kidding of course but I think it is time that he lights a fire underneath Weiss and let him know that his demeanor and his liberal substitutions must change in order for him to keep his job.

I didn't see the game either, but I heart that Damien Wilkins was running the point for some of the game.

Someone please tell me that this is not true.

exactly...yall are horrible defensively...it might be time to start rebuilding because I just dont see this current Sonics team accomplishing much...build around Ridnour, Lewis, and Allen, and try and get some defensive/rebounding help...the proble, though, may be that your two best players dont play all out on defense...

Thank you Captain Obvious. Our team colors are green and gold too, right?
