I think so. After a dismal homestand where we regularly blew 4th quarter leads, a pathetic loss to the 'Wolves and going into Denver against George Karl and the favorites to win the NW this year, and we pull out a win after giving up 61 pts in the 1st half. Not that this raises my expectations, I fully expect this team to be consistently inconsistent. Still, it's good to get a win on the road against a quality team even if they were missing their best player (Camby). I see Ray finally got off from 3 and Rashard, Damien and Flip played solid games.
it was a good win...every win is a good win. I didnt see the game, but seems like wilkins was handling the point well.
Yeah, it was good to see Damien be productive at the point. He did commit a lot of turnovers but they were the kind of turnovers he could learn to stay away from if he was given consistent minutes at point guard. Maybe we won't need to trade Flip after all? I know it's a stretch to start calling Damien our new backup point after a couple of good games but I guess I'm just being optimistic. I want that to work so we don't have to get rid of flip.
Given how close the Northwest seems to be, wins against rivals are absolutely vital at the moment which is why our performance against the Wolves was even more disappointing. Still, given the way we've been playing this season, I'll almost expect a let down next game.
