I'm a Timberwolves and I'm still not in love with this possible trade. I think the Timberwolves are taking the biggest risk. Artest is a huge question mark and Marbury is a head case as well. Yes it has huge potential but it could be the end of the Twolves as well. The Pacers get a sure thing. He's no Reggie Miller but when given the jump shot its automatic. And his game just makes it even easier for J O'Neal. I know this probably looks bad for the Knicks, but the truth is if the Knicks are going to try to win a title they need to slowly chip away at their cap debt. Marbury is not a Larry Brown player period. And Marbury is not willing to do an AI and change. And no one is willing to give up any player of value for the much traded Marbury. So they'd ship him West and out of their hair. Larry's not a fan of rookies and forced to change his ways with the low level of talent he was given. So trading Marbury for more draft picks is probably not high on their list. When I first posted this information given to me it was not just some shot in the dark rumor. It was what genuine info.

The Knicks are making absolutely no progress if they trade for an expiring contract and then add even more salary in the same deal. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Marbury is not a Larry Brown player period. Marbury's working very hard to try and play Larry Brown's way. That game on Monday against Phoenix Marbury showed much progress. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Larry's not a fan of rookies and forced to change his ways with the low level of talent he was given. He also played another rookie, David Lee, 52 minutes against Phoenix? Triple overtime excluded he would have played 37 minutes. And the Knicks' pick belongs to the Bulls, so why can't they use another pick? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">When I first posted this information given to me it was not just some shot in the dark rumor. This deal is stupid as heck! T-wolves get 2 much.. Just add a better player in the ny gets: instead of hassell. and add like griffin in their yea and that'll be a good deal..but this trade will help out t-wolves the most! and its kinda ripping the other 2 teams off!
it might happen - look at how lopsided the miami trades were in the offseason.. give up a few role players and eddie jones for j-will, antoine walker, james posey. anyways, risky move for the t-wolves. artest wanted the ball more in indiana.. how many shots can he expect to get with stephon dominating the ball and KG being the first option?

SKIP Q TMac Swift Yao Q. got open shots last yr. and right now only the only Rocket not left open is TMac. Everyone else is invited to shoot(that explains the losses with all the injuries.</div> i'm sure isiah would love to get rid of Q's contract.. BUT.. imo too risky for houston - they have enough injury problems as it is and Q has been very injury-prone in his career. He has a long contract too which might tie them up for years to come. If it doesn't work out, they'll be paying for it for a long time.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">What extra money? The Knicks will still be over the salary cap if they bring in Hassell & Hudson. They have no flexibility even if they trade Marbury in this deal, because they are taking back two ugly contracts. They still have all these players to pay ... Curry, James, Crawford, QRich, M. Rose I would think the Knicks would at least get some draft picks or some cheap young talent if they unload Steph.</div> Aren't they still paying Allan Houston still too?
