Alston might be what we need to get back on the win column. With him back and Anderson coming back soon is a good sign.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Alston to return
Having missed 19 games since suffering a hairline fracture of his right leg in the waning moments of an 86-80 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Nov. 17, Rockets point guard Rafer Alston is listed as probable to play tonight against Golden State.

"I'll give it a go," Alston said following Friday's practice. "It felt good today getting up and down (the court). If I had some more practices, my wind would be a lot better. But the good thing is I did a lot of cardio while I was out, so I'm not that far behind as far as my wind."

Alston, who averages 7.1 points and 4.1 assists, likely will play limited minutes initially, but his return should allow coach Jeff Van Gundy to reset his backcourt rotation. David Wesley, a shooting guard through the latter stages of his career, has manned the point in Alston's absence; rookie Luther Head and Moochie Norris have been forced to juggle additional minutes or play lengthy stretches out of position.

"It gives guys like David, Luther and Moochie (a break)," Alston said. "They can sit down now."</div>

haha Moochie will be sitting down. David and Luther will stay in the rotation.

I actually don't think any of those guys will be sitting down. Wesley and Head are better off playing shooting guard anyways leaving us to have no backup at point guard. Undoubtly, Norris is going to still get some minutes there since Alston won't be running at full speed.

Alston's return will help tremendously...he's smart, pushes the ball, and does a great job running the offense...now, we'll have someone who can guard and pressure quicker, smaller point guards...once he gets his shot to where it needs to be, he'll be dangerous...
